Got home late last night (gotta love delayed flights with teenagers!) and have 3 days to get organized and out.....heading up to Trevor's neck of the woods! Seriously contemplating next goals. Couple of sprints coming up that I may do with the boys, maybe an oly. Maybe give BQ 2011 a shot, also leaning towards IMAZ 2011. Heard it has less climbs!! Sorry for the lack of posting......been sharing my computer with aforementioned teens on vacation! |

And drafting. I have no idea how to ride in a pack. I liked to lead so i could drop in aero and not feel bad. Hanging on the horns isnt fun in a group. felt like i was going to crash into everyone!! Nice ride brother! 78 miles is a long ways! |

Nice Ride. Riding in the Peloton takes some practice but once you do it enough it becomes second nature and is really a lot of fun. If the group you are with really knows how to ride it can help with your acceleration also when they. I have to admit there are times when I am out by myself that I miss having someone to draft off!  Off to the great north woods with the family today for some R & R.....so I will be a little out of pocket until later this week. Be good and get those RR's up! Great Commericial...... BUT they just posted the official results and I got a 2 minute penalty! I am p*ss*d! I motorcycle followed me for 2 miles in that time I passed 1 bike and was never passed. I did not draft, EVER! I am the only one in my AG to get a penalty. |

I am the only one in my AG to get a penalty. first off congrats on the improvement despite the penalty! 2 miles is long time for the motorbike to be following you. if this happens again or if you see them pull along side you and stay there at all, i'd finish up, cool down, and head straight for the head referee. ask if you are on his list. they may not take the penalty away but will definitely discuss what went down, from their perspective. and they might have gotten it wrong. if they did their job, as they are trained to, they just don't jot down your number and drive on. not saying you did something illegal, just saying go talk to them after the race. heck, you're a lawyer! keep your head up. we got bigger fish to fry come september. |
