But because we went to the shore for my race this weekend I came home to $1.5 billion, full energy and an energy pack with only 240 points to level up.

Went up two levels in 10 minutes, finished my Tycoon achievement in Cuba and another job on the Consigliere level.  Only 4 more to fill up and I'll have mastered that one.  Then onto Underboss and Boss (which will take forever!!).

And I have my income up to $198M per 54 minutes.  And was reading some good stuff on the forums about how to get the $1T achievement...

Bottom line it said the way to do it was a combo of two things:

1. MAVD job--I can't remember what it stands for...but it's obviously the best paying job on the list...I think on Boss tier.  I can check when I get home but I can't get FB at work.

2. Boss fight on the enforcer (?) tier.

The way the boss fights work are that they cost you something like 20% of your current max energy.  So if you have max energy of 500, it costs you 100 energy to do the boss fight.  And they pay out a certain percentage of your CURRENT money.  So, quick math you can see that for the same energy you can get exponentially more money as you have more money.  What you do is do the MAVD job until the $ per energy is less than what it would be for the boss fight.  The forums had a formula for the exact changeover point...but for a person with 500 energy it was about $300-something billion I think.

But once you decide to go for the achievement it's pretty much all you do...which is why I would at least like to get through Cuba before I try.  They also said you should have income between $200-$300 M per hour before trying it too.

I checked some of the math and this is what I get...

Fighting the boss in the enforcer level gains you 0.18% of your total cash that you have on hand....

"Make Arrangement for a Visiting Don" (boss level) gains me 57,500,000 for 35 energy.

That means, I would need about 32 billion in my pocket to also gain 57,500,000 fighting the boss.

BUT, that takes 129 energy (based on my current situation).  I would need 129/35*32 billion to make it even.  That's 129 BILLION in the bank to switch over to fighting the boss instead of doing MAVD.

I currently make about 130 million per hour and spend it just as fast buying businesses.  I think I might sit on that, wait for the 129 billion as I finish the levels.  No more business purchases for me, I think.

I can see that once you get to 129 billion and start doing the boss fight, your bank roll will start to grow exponentially.

You got it!  That's almost EXACTLY what the forum said...and the 0.18% sounds familiar...

Edited to add that the forums even said that the less energy you had the easier it would be.  I'm even thinking about capping myself at 600 total energy until I get the achievement....

I'd like to try to get it finished by the time they upgrade for Russia on Thursday, but am having issues getting enough BMPs. Good luck, it all comes down to the BMPs.
