Morning TAN!  I had to be in the office at 7 this morning.  So, I thought it would be a good idea to hit the 'off' button on my alarm, instead of the 'snooze' button.  The alarm was set for 5:30, so I'd have time to eat something, have some coffee, text 2goggs, watch the morning news...  However, I woke up at 6:40 and only had time to brush my teeth and grab a banana for lunch.

sweet.

Anybody got some rain to spare? We're fresh out over here...

Yeah, nothing like a foot-plus of rain in 3 days to set your mood (with more to come today!!!). 40+ roads closed around here, including a few major ones.

The Chattahoochee crested last night/today, flowing over parts of I-20 and I-285, that's putting the screws to many a morning commute.

Schools are still closed in a few counties, since the flooding has taken out a lot of roads accessing the schools (including where the gf teaches).

Thankfully, no damage to our stuff, but I did find a new leak or two that will have to be addressed once errthang dries up.

On a sad note, 4 of those who died this weekend all went to the same HS and graduated within a few years of each other, gf knew 3 of them. Very sad.

Good times?

Glad to hear you are fairing well through it.   Sorry to hear about you guys knowing 3 of the people that were lost.   My best friend is out in Cali this week, and has no idea if his house is safe or not.   He's up in Cherokee county, so he should be fine.  My in-laws are in Dacula and apparently their basement is holding strong even though there is water everywhere.     I expect flooding in Macon, but Atl... wtf.

On the bright side.. Lake Lanier might refill.

Ugh. I know you want to finish your season but I'll bet you wish you could have it magically extracted today.

Yep.  If there was a way to get it out that didn't require recovery time, I'd be all over that.

I really shouldn't have had pizza for dinner last night.  I was feeling good, so I took the chance.  Bad call.

One of the other good things that came from my transplant surgery.  Whilst my surgeon was in their nosin' around he took out useless items like my gall bladder and apendix.
