Hey, Geckos!

I'm back from the beach. I didn't do anything while I was there - well, nothing that counts as training! Lots of splashing, floating, etc.

But I got a 4-mile run in this afternoon after I got back. Swim and bike will be done, easy - run...well, I'm working on it.

Keep it up, team!

Sounds wonderful. I think we should ALL go to the beach next week.

I did a strength session today, and now my shoulder hurts. I think I'm falling apart.

However, I'm prepared to fix myself up:

After my tri today I have 2392 yds left to swim, 14.66 miles to bike and 14.47 miles to run. I guess I wasn't as far behind as I thought. No prob's finishing this by the end of the week. Happy Sunday!

GREAT JOB ON THE TRI TODAY!

Oh grumble. I just tried to post an update on where each of us stands individually. But BT's server got full, and my message DISAPPEARED.

Bleh.

I'm off to take the dog out. So you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

CONGRATULATIONS GECKP'S!!!   We remain in First Place -- AWESOME -- Can't let down now though!  Others will want to whomp us.

As for me, well, I'm a hundred yards above my swim goal for the month, so only 6.5 miles to run and I'll be 100%.  I'm gonna try to get another couple thousand in the pool and at least 12 more miles to put me at 110 on everything.  Just have to see how it goes.  Leave on Vacation on Thursday, so don't know how well I'll be able to train!

Go Team!

Hm. Maybe.

Or maybe I'll just get cattle prod happy, and zap everyone. You never know with me.

It all depends on how we do this coming week. If we keep our lead - no cattle prod. But if we slip, be prepared for some heavy zapping.........

I love my cattle prod.

OK, OK...

Maybe I was trying to avoid the cattle prod...but I'm in the "Right on Track" section, so you don't need to zap me yet.

And I'm going to the pool this afternoon.

I feel like I deserve to be hit with the cattle prod.  I slipped to the Needs to pick up the pace.  Granted, I am going for an hour long run today, but I still feel bad.

I had two races in 6 days and I feel like my body has been beat on. The race this past Saturday didn't go very well. I had some navigation issues, but live and learn. Here is a link to my race report.

This week will be a higher mileage training week for me. So hopefully if all goes well I will be able to avoid the dreaded prod!

Hey everybody! In laws are gone... They left Saturday night so I am back to chat! They were  a great help with the twins, disciplined them well, I guess my husband and I are push overs.  We often think we need super nanny to move in.  Their discipline methods are not like hers.

Well I should be on track to finish strong! I will try inspire everyone along this week! If it wasn't for this challenge I probably would have had a very white/yellow squared month!

Thanks Dee!

GO GECKOS!

Hi Gecko's - well I'm in the needs to HU category!

I have a plan for the next 7 days which seems doable so we'll see.  I feel really confident about hitting 100 on the bike and run - the swim will be the challenge for me.

Thanks for stopping in on my logs and giving me a kick in the pants inspiring me!!

Go GECKO'S!!!!!
