I swam in super fast because I was scared of whatever was lurking in the even darker water. LOL There are only a few weeks left before the season officially ends...does everyone want to plan to be out there for an end of season party on one of the last nights? Me!!! I'd love to make it out on the 9th or 16th to get an OWS in before Soma. I have open house at my school next thursday.

Pro 3715  AZ | Subject: RE: ESCKTC OWS/RUN/DRINK Brickapalooza II 2008 I am out that very last Thursday before SOMA, the 23nd, so I vote for one last Brew-Ha-Ha (literally) on the night of the 16th!!! I think we should build a small fire on the beach and make smores!!!! (seriously....smores and beer....what more could you want)? After SOMA we will switch to the Wednesday night runs at Tempe Town Lake at 5:30. |

Sometime between now and SOMA I want to don the wet suit and bang out 3 big loops to simulate the 1900m swim. Next week the 16th will be my last OWS and I was hoping we could all make it out to have one last bash before we stop the OWS and switch to TTL runs. What say yee? |

Your last chance to try out your wet suit before SOMA!! We should all bring drinks and food, and I was thinking I could bring a few "logs" and we could have a little fire on the beach there! After SOMA most of us don't have a big race planned, so that coupled with the fact that it starts getting dark around 6, this is the point of the year we switch to running around Tempe Town Lake. So you are more than welcome to join us on the 29th for that!!!! |

I say if you get there and there is one more person to swim with....start swimming!!! I know it will take me about 40 min to do 1900, so I need to start swimming as soon as I can. I have ordered them but wont have any until next week. No bike store in the west valley has them! Please let me know. Thanks! Sally |
