I am not a fan of smores But I love fire. I will be out there. I thought we would have one last OWS the Thursday before Soma. Oh well I will make the best of my last one. I will bring some beer so I can be a Real member. So I will be Member in "good standing"

You CAN have one on the 23rd, but I can't come that night.  So you can still swim that last Thursday, but it won't be the big so long to OWS blow out that we need to have on the 16th! ...when I can attend! Haha!

So if I bring logs for a fire.....what do you want to cook?  I can bring smores fixings....  Does someone want to bring hot dogs and buns?  (Sporty...can you bring veggie dogs?)  What else? Sally were you bringing something?  I just want to make sure we have a fun time!!!

I will bring something. I can bring cookies (have them already in the freezer). I can also bring some Gatorade.

Im hoping to make it. i will be at BJC in the am for my 2500 meters swim, But i will swim/run again that night, just to see everyone get a tickit for starting a fire on federal land...

People have fires down there all the time!!!!  We can have a teeeny one on the beach...in a pit...very litte fire danger!!!

Tonto National Forest lifts fire restrictions

 

 

               PHOENIX (July 7, 2008) – All campfire and smoking restrictions affecting the Tonto National Forest will be lifted, effective Wednesday, July 9, 8 a.m.

 

               The fire restrictions, which covered the entire forest, are no longer needed because fire danger has been reduced by increased moisture and humidity from the annual monsoon season. These wetter conditions prompted officials to lift forest fire restrictions.

Oh...and I don't plan on running. It will be too dark, and if we want to do the whole bonfire thing and not be there until midnight....we should just swim and partay!
