Seattle | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED Welllllll, I survived Texas (or did Texas survive me??) Forkin' crazy stuff, SXSW is. For example, I was at a show, got elbowed in the face, got a massive bloody nose, was rushed backstage, given ice for my face and a bunch of sushi and then the band came back and hung out with me and we took pictures. Wait, what? Yeah, that happened. Also, VERY strange, so I took this picture a long time ago while running in Seattle because I thought it was weird as hell: But then, the minute we parked our rental car in Austin I saw THIS parked behind us: That's when you know shyte is gonna be crazy. Apparently they had lost the bowling trophy I guess. Anyway, Here I am, sitting on someone's gold bike...Yes, I am wearing a bolo ties. I was trying to fit in. |

Master 6595 Rio Rancho, NM | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED Well, I booked my massage appointment . I explained my training situation to her, and my hesitation to get a massage, and the fact that I'd felt comfortable with her last summer after a race. She's seems good with all of that. |

Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED So we knew that taking care of my dad's household, personal, and business affairs was going to be a shytestorm ... The 15th was his death and funeral day, and the three days since have been packed to the hilt, taking up everything my bro, sis, and I have got ... My sister comes into my room tonight when we've settled down, gone to bed etc. and asks, "Have you written your race report yet?" I suppose it is a Sherpa's duty to remind a triathlete of the REALLY important things in life |

Veteran 659 East Texas | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED So is it still considered streaking if you take one day off? I've been running every day for last 2 weeks now but I still take one day off just to make sure I'm not over doing it. I'm still just so nervous about that IT Band |

Veteran 659 East Texas | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED Well, I'm not chancing it. I'll continue with my 1 day off for now. Maybe after Galveston. I'm going to start building this week now that I got through Athens Sprint. Hopefully I can work up to at least an 8 miler before Galveston just to give me confidence I'm healed |
