I could do a lot less and still be in OK shape. I'm smart, and I'm a good guitar player, but I don't feel like I've ACCOMPLISHED anything worthy in life so far. I'm just another overeducated, middle-aged guy who lives 3,000 miles from his children and has a situation where I and the X will never, ever get along - ever. Running/cycling isn't going to solve those problems, or make me happy. Religion has never worked for me (and I don't say that to give offense to those for whom it works... I have prayed to God and there is no God for me). I'm not depressed - I just feel purposeless right now.
