No need to call Judge Judy - YET! yeah right. you had me at beer and mnf. i'll come upstairs whenever you want me too. LOL, hoping that Manning forgets to show up tonight, I only have a 7 point lead, Hasslebeck hurt only got me 5 points, Schaub on the bench with 41, ouch! You just scored some Linda points with that comment. Matt can't be happy with Hasslebeck's rib's. I've seen an image or to where he's sporting the #7 jersey. At least its nothing too serious like they originally thought. Yeah, Hasslebeck is #8, not even sure we have a #7. My daughter does sport the #8, simply because that was all we could find in toddler sizes. Myself, I prefer to go with a classic player - lately its been the #38 of Mack Strong. Can you get New Belgium (brewers of Fat Tire) beers down there? If so, you need to try their Hoptober - assuming you're up to hoppy beers. I've only seen it in the variety pack - like I need an excuse to buy 12 beers instead of 6. My fantasy football team sucks - my best guy is a Texan, a Texan |

On another note - is it wrong to have Oktoberfest in mid-September? This past weekend was Oktoberfest in Addison (a suburb close by...) |

It was heart warming to log on and see so many waiting for me. It was a good thing the race was on Sunday and I had the weekend to get better. My sinuses are not completely happy with me but they let me race. I did a test run on Friday and couldn't run 2 miles without walking, so I was nervous. But I was taking antibiotics for a sinus infection right before my half earlier this year so racing with sinus problems must be a thing for me. Both my husband and I had outstanding races! I took 35 minutes off of last year's time and was 10th out of 21 in my age group......and the hubby took 2nd in his age group! I am so proud! Several big names came out for this race. Bjorn Anderson is the signature star racers. He is a big dude! Of course he took first in the half in some rediculous time of 4:30 or something. I saw the mayor of DC crossing the finish line from racing the half and the chief editor of Triathlete magazine came all the way from California to race the Savage Half as well. I met Bob, willie05 for those of you from last year's MG. He had a great race as well. Now I am off to write my race report. Thanks again everyone. Awesome job Tracy - both you and your husband. Congrats on your top 10 finish, sounds like you had a great race. Can't wait to read your RR. |

My dad has a Kurt Warner jersey (the original, not the Ram/Cardinal...) When I briefly lived in Jacksonville, my brother wore his Seahawks jersey and I wore my Jim Zorn Jersey. We went to a Seahawks/Jaguars game and a Seahawk fan came up to us, looked at my brothers jersey and turned around and walked away... It's a Rick Mirer jersey... |

Master 2436 Apex, north carolina | Subject: RE: SWBKRUN Mentor Group-Closed! KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS!!! Okay, I am finally through all the posting about football! Let me see if there were some other topics discussed. Linda - WTH is up with your sister? She waited from November to April and managed to hit the 2 exact days you are racing? How about if she gets married at Lone Star? I'm sure our MG would be the hit of the reception. Andy - I hear you about the parent motivation. When I told my mom about the Disney marathon and that you can get the Mickey Mouse medal for doing the half and a Donald Duck for the full - she told me a Mickey Mouse medal sounded just fine. Thanks for the confidence mom. And BTW - I have a pair of the cheap drug store compression socks and I love them. Sam - way to go on your race. Isn't that the best feeling when it all comes together?! That is how I felt this weekend. No one particular part outshined the others and it was a great race all around. Trevor - for Savage this year they gave out arm warmers with SavageMan Triathlon written on the arms. Very cool. And John - your photo so doesn't count b/c she isn't wearing anything else!!!! I mean it doesn't even look cold out from her picture if you get my meaning. I decided to go to spin class this morning for a little active recovery and it was HILLS - - - - can you freakin' believe it?!?! Edited by tahrens 2009-09-22 10:22 AM |

I know what you mean, my tolerance is really low these days. We were at a wedding a couple weeks ago and I was feeling it soon after the reception started. Not like the old days where I could put them back all night and be ok. I'll take not drinking (or drinking less) and being able to workout over a hangover any day. |

I've never learned how to spit properly so I never tried with the nose. I was sure it would end up all over my face, just like when I spit. But only once did it land on my thigh and that was because of the wind. So if we are keeping tally, bush broke - check, snot rockets - check, spitting - working on it.
