still a great effort out there today, You earned that beer at the finish we were all remarking about

JeepFleeb - 2008-04-13 10:49 PM

Wow! 28 pages and 3 hours to go?!?

Thanks for following us all today! I was definitely thinking about the board virtually watching us out there.

The wind and heat were brutal today. 95 degrees and a solid 15-20mph headwind on the way out, but a super-fun ride back. I need to download my power data, but I'm guessing I averaged in the teens going out and upper 20's on the way back. So much fun!

But my stomach didn't cooperate and I couldn't take in any calories the last lap without getting sick. I knew at the turnaround that it was going to be rough. I nearly DNF'd in transition, tried to run, couldn't, had Chippy call my coach and we decided to walk/run to get a workout in and we'll start planning for the next qualifier.

Thanks again! I'm gonna go eat and head back to watch the rest of the finishers come in.

i think there are,, but I'm checking the people bib's numbers that are finishing now and most of them don't have the last two running timing mats times on them, so I'm hoping that the ones we think are going to be close to the time limit are really doing better than we can see.. and thiat it's the timing mats not updating..   My video is going in and out so I can't hear the names of the people finishing

WOW, Jonathan Coco just finished. I think he's the little brother of one of my junior high friends in Louisana. His age fits and he's even local to me now (Mckinney Tx).

Also, I'll ditto what Gary said in the run splits being "lost". The people finishing now have the run3 split missing. They had a ~11:00 ish run 2 split.
