I'm shooting for a jaunt on the treadmill at some point today. The whole family is off to a bit of a slow start. We have ice skating lessons for the kids this morning and then HOPEFULLY we can get a little productive. I feel like this week I finally got my mojo back with regards to training. I think getting in the pool for the first time in ages "got the juices flowing". I updated the spreadsheet finally... my goals have been revised. Ooo hope you find a sitter. Sounds like a fun night out. Providence has a restaurant (now special events place) in an old bank too. It's called Federal Reserve and you can sit in theold vault if you want. Very fun!!My wife and I are trying to get a baby sitter tonight so we can go out to dinner. There's a great restaurant that opened near us not too long ago and it is fabulous. A local family turned a 100-year-old bank into this quaint restaurant and the food is out of this world. And it's BYOB which is always a bonus and, to top it off, we have a gift card. Along with updating my quicken and getting a start on the taxes... I always do enough to see if we are getting money back and then decide when I want to actually have them completed and filed. |

I will take the quiet as a sign you are all out training rather than drinking coffee and cruising BT like me. We are in our last 8 days!! Lets swim steady, bike hard, and run fast. Not to mention do that core work, PT exercises and log those calories!! I know you can nap and pound beers without extra encouragement! Have a good day all!!! |

I don't remember where I found it - but it was in the days when I was thinking of joing the Nat'l. Guard. (I decided not to) I thought it was funny and used it. No one ever takes pictures of me - and certainly not while running - so had to use something for a profile pic. If y'all want, I can put up the one of me in a suit -my daily attire.... |

Guess I better run a bunch today as I will have to do one day of biking this week to make that goal. Wish the sun would come out and play for a little while. Would make the run more enjoyable. |

Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Tased and Confused (Team 1) - January Challenge Greetings. Having a nice weekend overall. Ran 7.5 yesterday in the cold. 21* when I started out. Brrrrr. But, it was a LRS group run to raise funds for Haiti...so how do you complain really. This morning was Masters swim. This crew is serious. When the "warm-up" is 1x300 drill, 1x400 swim, 1x200 kick you know you're in trouble. Thankfully, there are some slowpokes like me and we do the best we can in our own lane. Later this afternoon it's kick off game for indoor soccer but I'm going to a party to watch the Jets beforehand. So, either I don't drink any beer watching football or I play soccer with a buzz. Hmmmm. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. |

I got a trainer session done early this afternoon and am waiting for my lunch to digest before I head out on a 4 mile run. I plan to leave in around 10 minutes. I hope to outrun the rain! |
