I wish there was a way to get us all in one place and do a race together.

That would be EPIC!!!!!

Oooh fun.  Somebody create a map of where we all are and we can figure out the middle point.

Felicia's house in Kansas. But I'm just guessing, and I'm probably way off based on the Australian's and our Indonesian friend.

Heh yeah, I was gonna say east coast + west coast = midwest

I don't think we can count our Non-North Americans or we might end up in an ocean.

Of course, if we do a weighted average based on number of people in the various regions we'd probably....

d@mn math OCD!!!!

I own a big farm house and an acre. We get cyclists through our town all the time. You guys could pitch a tent almost anywhere and no one would even bat an eye. lol

rrrunner - 2013-03-18 12:39 PM Well, I booked my massage appointment Undecided. I explained my training situation to her, and my hesitation to get a massage, and the fact that I'd felt comfortable with her last summer after a race. She's seems good with all of that.

Good job!  :-)

Now I just have to figure out if I'm supposed to tip her...

I do

Me too.

me three

Being a massage therapist, I love you guys.

Huh.  I have never tipped my RMT...  Should I be tipping my PT as well??

I wouldn't tip PT.  Their compensation structure is totally different.

That would be the coolest thing for sure.  I'd love to go toe to toe with Salty.  Not to mention seeing us all in the cool Manatee t-shirts that we surely would get.

Pretty sure there's a law against such a manatee gathering. Or, would be after!

ok - I live in a non-tipping nation.  No I would not tip a medical professional person.  However having lived in Greece, I would bribe them with copious amounts to get the best treatment.

Back in the day when I could afford hair cuts or indeed had time for such frivolity...I used to tip the kid that washed my hair and cleaned up - I never tipped the owner of the salon.

I like that about Australia, the price is the price, not tax added at the check out, no tipping to work out. It's easy. The adding the tax at the check out confused the cr@p out of me in the USA and Canada.
