I'm a big fan of traveling and competing. I like the simplicity of running events but tri is cool. Speaking of, I'm in Massachusetts now!!!!

Yep - Washington state - across the country - compete in the Savageman Tri (I want my name in a brick for doing "the climb").. visit Manatees on the way - and end up in Boston.

Now I just need a motor home, a lot of spending cash, and fellow manatee's that want to travel the country doing triathlons!

I sm one of the best support crew I've been told plus pro stalking to pass the time...

Dumb girl I went and swam on my own at a different pool and I realised the reason was I didn't want to bump into FB chick at squad. This morning Andrew put up his new personal training page on Facebook and I have hesitated to hit like coz I know she sees my likes (is that how it works?)Dammit. I have to confront the issue - I don't do confrontation

BAD Jo!! Put it out of your mind and don't change your plans because of her pettiness!! You are a squad machine and you love it and she isn't allowed to take that away from you!  Plus you are so fast she'll be bobbing in the distance.

And don't think of it as "confrontation" - just go about your business.  Be polite.  Be cordial.  You've done nothing wrong.

Yes. I like this. She does not make the list of important things to make you change your routine. There should be no guilt or I'm sorry on your part. You're not being mean or cruel... simply doing what you've always done and enjoyed doing.

DH just got a Cobb V-flow Max. After his race this weekend we're going to put it on my bike since I'd like to try it out too.

That would be sooooo awesome. I love racing in different venues! DH's support in traveling tri's is waning i'm afraid Frown

How does the DH feel about visiting Manatees?  (I'm being serious).  I am going to be in Denver in May - and I am considering making it a road trip.

If I do a road trip instead of flying, I am going to do an epic road trip where I schedule stops in certain cities to run or ride with fellow BT'ers on their favorite routes.  I thought it would be a cool way to travel, and I can incorporate my training into the trip.  If this comes to fruition, I am trying to figure out a way that New Mexico can be on the route...

There are a few obstacles in the way now ($$$) but it may happen yet.   I really want it to.  Will be making the final decision before the end of the month.

Clearly the Manatee wagon will need a support crew!  Welcome aboard.  Now we just need more Manatees, a list of races, a motor home, and a budget.

jobaxas - 2013-04-10 3:01 PM Dumb girl I went and swam on my own at a different pool and I realised the reason was I didn't want to bump into FB chick at squad. This morning Andrew put up his new personal training page on Facebook and I have hesitated to hit like coz I know she sees my likes (is that how it works?)Dammit. I have to confront the issue - I don't do confrontation

You want I should do it for you?  I have a lot of pent up frustration at my boss that I could take out on her for you...

Or, we could be sneaky about it... I could start posting comments on your wall about how wonderful this Andrew guy / coach sounds... about how awesome it is that he is working with you, about how much your cycling is improving since you started working with Andrew.  I'll just keep gushing about him... LOL
