That is close! I'll do my best and get on the trainer today! And, I'm cheering for a Vikings LOSS. Favre - boooooo! But especially because I volunteer for Make A Wish and I have a kid going to the Pro Bowl and his favorite player is Adrian Peterson. If the Vikings win, Peterson will not attend the Pro Bowl for sure. So, I'm hoping you'll all cheer along with me for the Saints! This is exactly why I am rooting for a Vikes loss and Saint win too! I'm also rooting against Favre; he's like a hired mercenary. |

Extreme Veteran 671 Not Quite DFL | Subject: RE: Tased and Confused (Team 1) - January Challenge I think for the first time I out ran erica. No rain, but overcast and windy. Felt a lot colder than the 49 degrees it was. Mile 1 - 9:39 - warming up... I was cold, but overall it was a good run and I am pretty happy with it, all things considered. This means, I hope, that it really isn't as close as the OTHER teams think |

I have 20 more miles to run for the month and I don't think I'm going to get that done. I'll do what I can and I will finish my other two goals for the month. |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Tased and Confused (Team 1) - January Challenge Well I had a big training weekend. Total of 17 miles running and I got a swim in tonight too. I still have 25 miles for the week to meet my goal. I''m hoping to get there. I also need 3 PT sessions which will come in handy with all the running. Two more swims... Being on a challenge team does help me make my goals. Thanks all!!! |

I have to follow my running plan to a T this week, get in 4 drainer ride and the DREADED 'strength workouts'.... good thing i quit my day job - i should have time, but do i have the drive?? |

I was planning on blowing off my run (reschedule for tomorrow) but I think I'll head out at about 8:30 and try for my 9 miles. I say try cause my right hip is bothering me. It's just sore and twinging. I think I just need to foam roll the snot out of it. Silly cause I have one in my basement but it hurts so bad I don't want to use it! Anyway, that is my plan for today. We'll see if it works out! |

Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: Tased and Confused (Team 1) - January Challenge Hello team... Well, I got ZERO workouts in this weekend . And on top of that, I overslept this morning and couldn't get in a workout. I'm off to the gym at lunch and will get in a treadmill run. I will meet my goals for the month if it kills me. And now that football season is over (except for the SB), I plan on being much more productive (from a triathlon standpoint) on Sunday's. Erica, was that you I just saw blowing by my window??? |

I actually have been home for awhile but had to bring in some wood, shower, eat, do laundry, stop my puppy from eating my headphones (I was too late, they are ruined). Gotta say, that was a fun run. I was expecting it to blow (heh) but it was pretty fun. The last 3 miles were some of the nastiest conditions I have run in but it was fun. I am glad I went. I think I was more wet than if I was swimming! And a few times I think I was running in place cause of the wind. But I only got blown off the road a few times! Such fun. |

Way to get out there Erica! Weird weather is fun - kind of takes your mind off of the pain of the run! I never did get on my trainer last night, but did get a good swim and run in this morning. I need a few more trainer rides and planks to be at my goal. Hope you all have a great Monday - despite some crummy weather! |

Extreme Veteran 671 Not Quite DFL | Subject: RE: Tased and Confused (Team 1) - January Challenge Great job erica! Personally - I hate to run in the rain - especially if it is cold and frankly, I wouldn't do it - so you are a better person than me. My lunch hour workout was a mini du - 2 mile run, 7 mile bike, .2 mile run to cool down. I'm getting closer. Will make bike and PT goal, not sure about the run. Will depend on the weekend. |
