Epic TL 2300 Commercial Pro Treadmill  from costco.  1200 bucks.  so far so good with my fat a$$.   and can't beat costco's return policy and their customer service is top notch.       

Someday when you guys meet my wife I am going to regret this but here it goes...

I haven't used the treadmill since March...just sayin...

But...a wee bit of off season weight for me is a huge understatement.  I put on way too much these last few months.  I need to cut it fast!!

No Costco in these parts so that is not an option.  I have heard good things about Sole and use Precor at the Y so those are both good options.  Would consider another NordicTrac too.

We have a Horizon with a couple of thousand miles on it from the Bride and girls (and me when it gets below zero) and has need no work at all except some general care every 500 miles.  It came with a 10 year warranty on the motor and the deck.   

Looks like Buffalo and Syracuse were recently annexed by Canada.  Bummer.  Does that mean I need to get a new passport?  Did they get they take those northeastern states too?

Then you will have to drive 4 hours from NYC back west to where I live.  Right near Corning on that map!

And Fatty...I pay a lot of taxes for the privlege of living in NY, I would never say it sucks!

That is my plan.  I will be studying th current before the race b/c I don't want to get stuck in the wrong spot.  They moved the date up 3 weeks for warmer weather and better current conditions so I'm liking that.

Love the play lists.  I need to update mine.  I'll try and post some songs around lunch.

I may have a new goal for the year.

That was a cool video.  Maybe your whole family could do it.

For anyone that wants a cool experience I highly recommend doing the Pan Mass Challange. It is in the first weekend in August. The longest route is 192 miles over 2 days. The $ you have to raise is significant, BUT at least 97% of the funds get to the Jimmy Fund. I think they raised $37,000,000 in 2011. I rode a pre-ride one year from the NY/MA border to Sturbridge through the Berkshires.
