jobaxas - 2013-04-10 1:06 PM DID SOMEONE SAY ROADTRIP???????!!!!

Yep - Washington state - across the country - compete in the Savageman Tri (I want my name in a brick for doing "the climb").. visit Manatees on the way - and end up in Boston.

Now I just need a motor home, a lot of spending cash, and fellow manatee's that want to travel the country doing triathlons!

Are you doing Savageman this year?  3.5 hour drive for me to the venue.

Not this year... it is on my list though.. possibly for 2014.

Is it before Kona or after...Cool

1 month before Kona..

I'll shoot for 2015 since KQ is my goal next year.

I sm one of the best support crew I've been told plus pro stalking to pass the time...

Clearly the Manatee wagon will need a support crew!  Welcome aboard.  Now we just need more Manatees, a list of races, a motor home, and a budget.

don't tempt me - DH and Artemis are off to Europe for four weeks......

jobaxas - 2013-04-10 3:01 PM Dumb girl I went and swam on my own at a different pool and I realised the reason was I didn't want to bump into FB chick at squad. This morning Andrew put up his new personal training page on Facebook and I have hesitated to hit like coz I know she sees my likes (is that how it works?)Dammit. I have to confront the issue - I don't do confrontation

You want I should do it for you?  I have a lot of pent up frustration at my boss that I could take out on her for you...

Or, we could be sneaky about it... I could start posting comments on your wall about how wonderful this Andrew guy / coach sounds... about how awesome it is that he is working with you, about how much your cycling is improving since you started working with Andrew.  I'll just keep gushing about him... LOL

Okay thanks for all the responses.  If just hit like and shared the page.  Read it and weep or fork off outta my way.

Went out for a jog tonight, but my left knee was not agreeable.  Didn't make it much more than a tenth of a mile down the road.  I guess I need more low-impact stuff.  Got on the trainer, and that was fine.  I wonder if this puts the 5K in doubt this weekend.

Doesn't sound too promising for the weekend.  Maybe more ice and rest...

rah-roh. Do you have chronic knee issues (you've probably said before if you do but I missed it..) or just a flare- up from HM?

ROAD TRIP...not for another 6 weeks. I am so looking forward to my road trip across the US. Seattle should be May 25 or 26, depending on Canada.

i had to revise my trip and will be taking a northern route down to TN. I did not get as much leave time as I wanted to add Vegas and such. I will post pics as I travel.

Man, I got so damn lucky. My cousin's place is right downtown near the start/finish. That's one less logistical nightmare off my plate.

First night is Boston is about wrapped up. Had mass Vietnamese food with the fam and then some beers. Oh, and before all of that I had about an hour to kill before everyone got into town and sort of randomly met up with an old friend. So good! It's funny, I've gotten several messages from old friends and whatnot who are happening to be in the area that I get to meet up with.

Funny story. My cousin is leaving for India today so I am going to be at his house by myself so he is showing me where everything is. He opens the closet and is like, "The helmets are here." And I'm like, "What do I need a helmet for?" Then he just looks at me for a long time.

Completely ignoring the usual (and obvious ), it's kind of a taper rule that you should wear a helmet at all times.

Mutti and I have a small present for you. We made it ourselves. That will be obvious too

You're asking the Manatees if you should do something that might be considered cheesee and tackee? I'd say that's a plus for us
