Does shoveling snow ( 30+ inches ) for over 5 hours count as strenth trainning. Have to shovel out my driveway then help shovel out my inlaws driveway.  Very hard work as the piles end up being over my head.

Crap, I would count that as major strength training!  Take care in that storm.

Been sick all week (seems like I always get sick after a marathon) so struggling to get my workouts in.  Hopped on the bike today because I really want to avoid that taser.

5 hours shoving snow turned into 12 hours and did not even get to the end of the driveway a little over half done. Husband was useless said there was to much snow and no place to put it. He also said he could not physically shovel said he was getting chest pains. He then went inside. Hopefully I will be able to finish so I can get my car out for work on Monday.

I'm not even in this challenge and I say heck yeah that is one monster strength training workout......then I read further down where the husband completely bailed on you.  HELL YEAH that was strength training.....and perhaps showing someone else that WOMEN don't bail on hard work.

4 more hours of shoving snow today. Never so happy to see someone my husband knows with a backhoe. Was facing another 3 hours to finish the end of the driveway. Took this person less then 20 mins. to finish the job. I can now get out of my driveway.

Forgot not that sore today. Just my lower back but once moving it's fine.

See? Tasers are useful for ALL types of situations! Yay! Tasers! Blue ones! Red ones! Pink ones! I need the camo one next. For those 'stealth' missions I have planned for all of you.
On your morning run , A car cuts you off while you are running on a pedestrian crossing , you are crossing with the lighted walk sign they have a red light . The car never stopped for the traffic signal & made a right turn on a red light while probably going 15 mph . You are not in danger but could have been were you 10 feet ahead . You run up 100 m and low and behold the offender has pulled a U turn on a quiet street and parked right where where you are running they see you approaching as there are no cars parked in front of them . Be honest in this situation what would be your response A: Use the Taser B: Approach the motorist and wave C: ID the car for some later retribution D: Approach the motorist and tell the driver and tell they blew a red light E: You've got better & bigger things to do , namely 6 miles to run , Peace Out F : The driver might be armed , better not confront them G : Some combination of the above .

What I WANT to do, and what i SAY I would do are probably not what I actually would do.

I went for option D in sign language :

Did they acknowledge your signing?

Yes , I was expecting it would be ignored but i was wrong and got some sign language in return
in this case " the bird ".

Wow.

Added another 3 clicks in the pool today . Various sets and distances . Feeling better and better for my upcoming triathlon season. My first race starts with a 400 m pool swim.

Does removing a stubborn tree stump with an ax count as strenght training , trunk diameter just under a foot .

Indeed I had the same reaction :/
  • .. then after a mental pause and about 100 m further up the hill
  • I'll admit i spent the next 2 hilly miles running up the inclines and considered
    Option C

When I set my goals for swimming, I didn't realize that hubby was going to be gone so much which leaves me as the only taxi driver for son's ballgames, dog walker, property manager, etc.  I'm going to have to live in the pool the latter half of this month.
