Anyone hear from Wildee or Cathrone?  There's blanks in the spreadsheets for them.

Everyone is doing great!  Let's keep it up.

You probably won't hear much from me this next week.

I have been waiting to be put on a team and just realized tonight that I missed the answer to my email and was to tell you to add me to the list. I have a goal of 100 miles and so far this week have done 24 miles. I did 16 on Wednesday morning and 8 on Friday afternoon. Thank you. If the kind leader would do this for me this week as I have no space for my name right now I will be glad to update my own from now on.
Thank you thank you

REMINDER!!! Week 1 of challenge finishes on Sunday - PLEASE make sure your team is updated for week 1 by the end of the day Monday as I will be trying to have an update posted for the challenge by the time the USA wakes up on Tuesday morning.

If your team is using google spreadsheet I will be logging on and grabbing your week 1 totals from there... if your team is using another method or reporting please let me know in the team leaders thread and post the results there.

Update will include:

- General challenge gossip from all teams

- the % of goal achieved by team

- Any major individual achievements mentioned in the team threads

Thanks for your help

Thank you so much for putting my info in this week. I will be able to do it myself now. I usually only update once a week rather than after each ride.
Where is everyone from? It seems like some goals are really high? are you doing ironman or olympic?
Who are you people? What can you tell me so I can help inspire y'all so we continue such a great trend in numbers?
Thanks

Well since I asked all of you those personal questions I should be first to answer.

My real name is Kimberly. I am from the Seattle area. I am the mom of 3 kids, 8, 6 and 4 y/o.

I have done one tri. Aug of last year a sprint. I loved it and have 2 more planned as well as some bike races.
I hadn't ever ridden a bike except as a kid playing until July of last year and now that is my favorite sport. I have been riding a mountain bike until this past week and I am now using a Specialized road bike. I love it.

I am inspired by just having someone remind me that I am not alone in this and that I am being counted on!

happy daylight savings! I HATE mornings anyway and this isn't helping!!!!

HI Kimberly...

I'm Gene... I'm from the coast of Oregon (Coos Bay area).  I decided to do a tri last year for the first time and last summer did the Pacific Crest Olympic.  Much like everyone else, I've caught the tri bug and decided that there should be nothing else in life... right?  I'm planning several races this year and I want to do an Ironman in 2009.

I am married and have 2 kids.  My son, who is 16 did the Oly with me last  year and has encouraged me quite a bit.  This year he is going to also do several other races with me.

Have a great day!

I'm from the Finger lakes region of western New York.  Grew up and live six miles from childhood home.  I was a swimmer as my mom threw in the water before we could walk.  I enjoy cycling for years along the Barge canal.   Never ran much.  I took a dare from my brother and did the 12 eek challenge and did well.  Then I needed a goal to stay that way and decided tris were the way to go. I've done a half and still thinking about an IM.

I'm trying to get my run base down but need to start to build the base miles for the bike.  Love to circle the lakes esp. Canandaigua.  Want inspires me is being in shape so that my patients can see it can be done.  Oh I'm a physical therapist.  Better practice what we peach.  Little about me.

Hidey-ho, Biker Peeps!

No riding for me so far this week.    Called out of town on business and working my butt off.

Married, 4 kids, 2nd year of tri's, from the Dallas area.  I'm not formally training for anything right now, but do have my eyes on a half-iron in the fall.  We shall see.

Until then, it's fun to see my swim, bike, & run abilities increase.

Have fun and keep riding!

Everyone is doing great, keep it up!!!! Its going to be a tough month if over 100% for the week doesn't have us near the top of the leader board!

I'm in what 's called the dallas fort worth area.. or DFW   texas.. the suburbs towns are so large though they are really self supporting communities.. I actually live much closer to a small college town of denton texas then dallas but I'm still considered DFW even if it's a good 40 min drive away..

Hey... sorry I haven't been involved in the group lately... I've been terribly sick this week... I didn't set my bike goal too  high this month because I was expecting other setbacks.  So, while getting sick was unexpected, I should be able to still make the goal...
