I'm on the east coast during the week, and in the midwest on the weekends!

I put you in Central for team balance. It looks your team is off to the post lead!

colesdad - 2008-05-02 8:15 AM Can someone help me out with the bonus thing? If I perform 2 disciplines in a row (did a swim then run last night) I add 5% to each of those distances? Just a little confused in Jersey.

That is my understanding. Any time you race or do them in a row, you get to add 5% to each.

I thought gillyfev said something about adding 5% to the whole week's totals when you do a brick. I'm trying to get clarification. 5% of one workout isn't much of a bonus

Good Morning Hipsters!

I got my swim on this morning...2200m with a 1500m set to start it off. I need to get my endurance back!

I've got a 30mi ride planned for tomorrow and the weather should be pretty good. Working on endurance here, too, since I have a metric century coming up in early June.

BTW do we want to go with "East Coast Hipsters" for a team name?

I had to rearrange my training plan for the month, so I have to modify my goals a little:

Bike: 13 hours  (increased)
Run: 8 hours (decreased)
Swim: 5.5 hours (same)

Hope that's ok!

You can always increase your goals and you can freely decrease your goals during the first week.

TGIF Hipsters!

Started my month today with an early a.m. spin class and just took a quick dip in the pool. Hoping to do a long run tomorrow, long ride on Sunday...if all goes well.

And I love LOVE Hipsters.

Nicole, this is my second year. I did 3 sprints last summer. I was hoping to do a OLY this year, but with the PF and lack of training for the last two months, I'm not sure if an OLY will happen. But then again in the south there can be an OLY in late Sept or Oct. So maybe it will still happen.

Got in a bike ride with my husband after work today.  46 minutes, so just short of my training plan, but I'll make up for it tomorrow during my group ride.

If you quote the message with the table in it, you can click "Disable HTML" and then preview.  Then copy and paste the code into your log in the control panel under goals.  You might have to click "apply" and then go back to goals and click "apply" again.  If I don't go back I usually end up with a mess of code in the log instead of the table.

Well, give it a day or so. Julie (Girl Passing on Left) hasn't been online yet. She's on the West Coast team. I'm thinking they'll pull into the Post Count Lead pretty soon.

Beth - you spend 5/7 of the week as an East Coaster!

It was humid and not quite foggy when I headed out for my ride this morning. The sun started burning through about an hour in and it was mostly sunny by the end. I kept reminding myself that this wasn't a race, nor a training ride for a race, but I still rode pretty fast: 30 miles in just under 2 hours. This pictures show a typical stretch of road on today's route and the humid haze.
