Dee- Can I be on a chatty team...I really need to try to get my post count over 2000 by the end of the year!

With the team I just put you on, you should set the goal more like 3000.

I have a question.......it is not so much the volume that I need to do, but it is the volume in individual runs that I need to increase.  I have no problem getting out and running, but I need the motivation to run long when I go out.  Can I somehow set my goal for say 4 runs for the month over 6 miles?  I am not sure if that would work.

Set whatever goal you want. You challenge yourself. So make your goal 4 - 6+ mile runs, plus whatever else you like if needed.

Yes, you can do this. When I put up the spreadsheets, you can put "4" as the amount and "runs of 6+ miles" as the "goal units."

Then, for example, when you log the first one, it'll automatically calculate it as 1/4 or 25% of your goal.

If that makes sense, great. If it doesn't, remind me when I put up your team spreadsheet, and I'll show you what I mean.

I'm in!

Marathon in January, so need to focus on the running after this silly half ironman on Sunday.

Plus, I really miss doing challenges. It's been months!

Ok great.....I am in.  I am pretty sure I know how to add it to the spreadsheet, but if i get confused I will ask.  This type of beating motivation is exactly what I need to increase the run.

TinkerWho? It's been so long since I've "seen" her that I can't recall the rest of her name.

Anyway, Tinky hasn't signed up for the challenge. But I do have you with a few (not all, but a few) of the people you've mentioned.

Absolutely! I've got you down as the "Team Chatty 2 Cheerleader."

(Yes, there are 2 chatty teams. I'll see if I can make it three.... It's going to be a fun month.)
