My 6 year old has repeatedly told me she wants to run a race with me - but that may be March's challenge when it will be easier to be outside here in the midwest. I am a prosecutor by trade and I am beginning my training for a half marathon on May 1 (Quincy - it's the Illini Marathon in Champaign - are you in?) so I will be running. I have a plan, finally, just have to compute what the distance is to properly figure my goal. I will be adding ST in the form of weights and or P90 X to round it out. G'luck all. |

I think I know most of the team though. So most of you understand what I mean when I say I'm not really into the touch-feelie kinda thing. (Or maybe I am, but in a different way???? LOL) And for the few people who I *don't* know..... Well, my name is Dee, and I'm addicted to the Challenge forum. My goal is going to be 28 days of PF stretches. It's NOT that I love plantar fasciitis. But I'll love it when the PF is all gone. So I'm going to use this challenge in an attempt to stomp the PF into the ground. Group hug for Dee! OOOOOOOOO |

Was going to sign up for the 10, but was a little chicken since my running hasn't been strong lately and there are a lot of hills in this course. |

Looks great. I really should get around to doing the January team chart Hello all! Nice to see so many familiar faces names. I, too, am addicted to challenges. This will be 4 or 5 months in a row for me (Dee, would you be so kind as to add me to the chart above?). For those I haven't "met" before, I'm Bill, I'm 43, I have 3 daughters ages 6, 9 and 12. This will be my 3rd year of triathlons. I completed a HIM last September and swore "NEVER AGAIN" only to sign up for another one 3 weeks later. This year my calendar is 1 sprint (Memorial Day Weekend), 2 Oly's (June and early August) and 1 HIM (Syracuse Ironman 70.3 in September). I'm strongly considering adding a half mary to my calendar in the Spring, since my running needs the most work. And thus, running will be my "love" for this challenge. I can't access the spreadsheet here at work, but will add my goals tonight. Have a great month everyone! |
