GO TEAM YUENGLING!

Quick tally this am puts us at 30% accomplishment with 39% of the month complete.  We had a couple teammates either tapering, or on vacation for the first week of the month, which probably explains the gap and most weekends we see a lot of LSD type work, which generally closes the gap by Monday am.  That said...we need a BIG weekend to get back in the hunt!

I'm gonna put in a hard day on Sat and Nease is racing on Sun.  As of this moment, I'm shy of my end of the week bike target by 31.89 miles with a 30 mile brick on Sat planned.  I'm 17.6 miles short on the run with 8 planned on Sat, and I'm 500y over my swim with nothing planned for the weekend.  Just need to make up a few run miles to be squared up.

Good luck to all those racing this weekend!!!!  Kick some ass in that Du Trixie!!!!  Good Luck in your Sprint Denise!  Have a great century race Tom!!!

[My swim this morning just slid me up into 9th place. Watch out! I'm gaining on you]

Have great races everybody! I'll be at a wedding all day Saturday (good-bye Saturday LSD) and cheering on grillmaster in his last tri of the season on Sunday.

Now this is the kind of posting frequency I like to see. We were getting quiet back there for a while.
I got in a new long swim today - 2550 yards. Got some good advice and workout recs from Mark and Jeff and put it to the test.
I'm doing well on the run and swim categories. Bike is trailing but the century tomorrow will take a large chunk out of that.
Biggest struggle for me will be the core - only at 160/1000.
Have a great weekend everyone. Good luck Denise and Trixie!!!

As of August 15:

Swim: 10000 yd (6400 yd, 64%)
Bike:   120 mi (59 mi, 50%)
Run:    120 mi (50.6 mi, 42%)
Core:   6 (3 of 6, 50%)

OK, here's the plan, homies:  Try to get through all but one core, all but one swim, and 100% on the bike this week - plus keeping up the running.  That'll come damned close to knocking all 3 of 'em off.
Then...I can focus in on run, which is a damned good thing, 'cause I'm gonna be out of town Sunday through Wednesday next week, and won't be able to do anything EXCEPT run.
Cry some tears for me, it's in San Diego.  :)

As for the rest of you sub 50%'ers freeloading on the backs of the Yeungling-hardcore,
Come on, come on, let's see whatcha got?

Hi all,
I was desperately trying to avoid doing work, so I updated the spreadsheet. We have 5 of us over 48%, which is where we are at in the month.
Shannon is leading the charge with a stunning 60%, closely followed by trixie and some attorney guy.
Keep up the great work everyone!!!!!

OK, guys, I'm feeling it!  I'm feeling the love and I'm feeling strong!

After my morning run, I'm at:  29% swim, 36% bike, and 29% run.  By the end of Sunday, I will have 2 of my available 3 training weeks completed, so I WILL be at 67% for all 3 parts!  This means I need to get in another 3:15 for swimming and running, and another 4:35 on the bike by Sunday night.

A couple of us are planning to ride the DLC 1/2 IM bike course this weekend, so that will already knock off 3:30 - 4:00 of my bike time.  I feel my stretch goal for the month in reach for biking, and I think I can still hit my stretch goals for swimming and running.

Let's get out there and have a STRONG Tuesday!

TEAM YUENGLING RULES!!!

Actually, I really don't mind being behind both of them.  I work much harder from behind, but I do like to finish on top!  Any stacking will be done with me on top!
