They're in the bag unless I get kidnapped by aliens or a peloton of ovulating tri chicks... All right. We need to talk. Take a seat. Yeah, right there.... Do you need a glass of water or some iced tea? I'm just trying to make you comfortable, because what I'm about to say might sting a little. Are you ready? Ok? Ok, you stupid, stupid man, you come in here bragging about how mighty your teeny little quads are and how incredible your mileage is. And 300 miles is the best you can come up with? And THEN you come in here and brag about THAT? I know I'm no Lance this month, but I didn't go around yapping my fool head off about how I was either. 300 miles? I've seen Bear do more in a weekend. You should be embarrassed. Now shut your mouth, get out of my thread and go home and wash the sand out of your *****. |

Well, yeah, but you don't have KIDS LOL or a full-time job LOL What the heck?!? Most weeks I work more than full time hours even though this is only called a full time job. The full time job keeps me from racking up 1774 posts in only a few months. |

Expert 929 Hawaii | Subject: RE: Gear Goddess Goals!!!! Hello all, I’m going to say 225. Comparatively, it may not be much...but for me it will be challenging-I’m new to the sport and this forum. I feel that there is some sort of goddess oath I should be saying right now pledging my allegiance and sweat to the team. I’m not feeling very creative at the moment or I would attempt to pen one. I get as far as “As a member of the gear goddess team, I promise...” and then sit staring at my computer screen. |

Even with that full schedule, I'll still exceed the average goal of the paltry "goddesses." Might even do it with my running mileage. Where were all these goblinesses when we were doing 700 miles in April? Edited by the bear 2006-06-01 8:19 AM |

Extreme Veteran 466 | Subject: RE: Gear Goddess Goals!!!! Max and I are both hitting 600 for the month of June too and I know that both of us run as we've done 2 of the same half marys so far this year- Boston RtR and Big Lake. We're also doing Mooseman this Sunday which is a little 56 mile bike followed by a short insignificant 13.1 mile run. Oh yeah, we swim 1.2 first. Oh, that would make it a TRIathlon wouldn't it? What do you know. Take a look at log totals(joined BT 1/28/06) and planned and completed races before you refer us to beginnercyclist.com. So what is Bear's commitment for the month of June? 'Ride lots' is kind of nebulous. BTW Bear- have fun at the mary this weekend. |

Even with that full schedule, I'll still exceed the average goal of the paltry "goddesses." Might even do it with my running mileage. Where were all these goblinesses when we were doing 700 miles in April? Starting tri season w/ an oly(St As) and then following it up w/ a taper to FL 70.3 put a dent in my mileage for all 3 sports. If you look at your 700 club thread, I had posted that I was interested in doing it on a different month(s). Based on my race schedule, April was bad but June and July are good. BTW, I'll hit triple digits running this month too which I haven't done since Feb. The swim- uggh, I'm growing to really dislike that so it may be struggle but I'll do it. |
