moreland007 - 2006-12-05 7:33 AM I squeezed in 800 yesterday at lunch.

Me too, and another 900 this morning.  900 yds. that I would not have done were it not for this challenge...cool!

12/1 - shorty of 600M.  Got to the gym late and it was me and Schmize with our 6 kids.  Not bad for 2 dads on their own!

12/3 - 2500M.  Longest swim in a long time.

Total for first/short week:  3100M

Thanks alot. You guys are great at keeping me motavated. I will be swimming again tomorrow. Soon I'll be back to at least normal yardage, if not normal speed. Which for me is not all that fast but like a turtle...I just keep swimming.

Boy am I glad I only signed on for 5400 yards. With being sick the last couple of days, I am in no shape for swimming. Maybe by Friday or Saturday I'll be up for some water breathing! I am soooo impatient when sick...very frustrating!

Well, I got my 1200 in this morn. It was not pretty and it was really slow but I am trying to be patient. I did it in a "blazing" 35:17. Whoo Hoo

I'm up over 10,000 month to date but our annual triclub party is tonight so if I swim it will be at lunch....unless swimming in beer counts.

I put in 2100 this morning and 2000 Monday.  I have agreed to share early A.M. Masters time with my husband (after goal setting for the challenge, of course!), so Friday will be an off day for me. I will need to make each of my workouts a little longer to make sure I get in my yards!

I have done 3K of out 11K.  So I am doing pretty well.

I may end up with a lot more than I thought I would.  I thought my family maybe traveling over Christmas, but the wife just said she wants to stay home.

Another session tonight, brings me to over 25% of my goal.  As the month goes on, may have to revisit things and see if I can have my "wettest" month of 2006.  Next planned day - Saturday.

3500 swim this AM. I'm at 11,400/30,000.

It's easy to swim when that's all you're really "allowed" to do... (!) Dang knee.

1700 more for me today. So that puts me at 13,100/30,000

I'm thinking of raising my goal to 35,000.

I did 1500 today and tried to remember to keep my palm open. It seemd to work well not to stress the shoulder too much. Slovegreen, Thanks for the suggestion. The shoulder seems to be feeling fine so far. That gives me me 3900 yds so far. I should be able to reach my goal.
