Ontherun - 2007-08-09 7:16 PM Kathy, I wish I knew the name of the Italilan place I ate two years ago, but I do know where it is . I was staying at the hotels by the rt 44 rotary. The first exit from the hotels goes to the camp, the second goes to the Italian place. The food was very good. Hope that helps.[/QUOTE

The name is Lorenzo's.

I have eaten there before although I can't remember how big the dining room is.

Chances are good I'll make the dinner. If anyone wants to drive down and back that night from Boston, we can carpool.

I'm planning on going to the BT dinner, and I am still looking for a roommate to share a room if anyone decide not to drive back and forth.

Pre-Cranberry BT dinner.

Saturday August 25th at 5:15pm, reservations under BT or Kathy Graves

Fireside Grille & Spirts

30 Bedford St.
(at Middleboro Rotary)
Middleboro, MA 02346

http://www.firesidegrille.com/

They have a great variety of food from pasta, seafood, salads, grille items and a kids menu. The menu is on-line.

The restaurant is located on 18 just north of 495 first restaurant on left before you get to the rotary and about 5 minutes from Cranberry registration location.

If you exit Ted Williams camp onto 18, you make a left and go beyond 495 and Fireside Grille is just past 495 on the left.

If you plan on attending please make a note on this thread an how many of you there will be, spouses, friends and kids are all welcome. I understand that things are up in the air and can change and that is fine. Just try to keep me in the loop so I can communicate with the restaurant.

If you need to reach me my cell is 508-369-5624.

Sue mentioned that last year we all brought extra food to share for after the race. It got really cold so most of us left pretty quickly after the race & food they provided. If weather is nicer let's plan on hanging out and visiting longer.

If you want to bring something to share, that would be great.

Anyone have a  tent or EZ up  they will bring this year?

Name tags...great thanks Scott!

Loon Pond was 79 degrees this weekend, so unless it cools down this week looks like no wetuits for Cranberry.

I have some beer left over from a party this past weekend.  Will anyone have any problem if I bring it?

Great, so in addition to being slow as hell from not training enough, I also get to start last?  Make sure to save me some food and beer for after the race!

You are so going to catch me on the bike.  I hate waiting around for my start.

Let's play "who will be last".  Vote for me.
