Did you know AT&T charges you $4.99 a month to be able to block phone numbers?

Do all other cell providers do this?

I'm with AT&T because I was grandfathered in to unlimited data... but my contract is up in under a month and it may be time for a change.

Originally posted by Techdiver I don't mind sport touring. I bought a Harley for various reasons. I grew up with them in my family. I was actually the 3rd generation to buy a Harley from the shop I purchased from. I came home with a picture of my grandfather on his with my dad as a boy on the tank. They have had it hanging in their shop on the wall for 56-58 years. They were not quite sure. My grand father was one of the first motorcycle policemen in the area. I don't mind sport touring. To be hones I thought about a BMW for a while. And was very tempted to own an R6 again. But I want my bike to ride and get away on the country road. I am lucky enough my city is small like about 5 miles across by 5 miles across the other way. After that you are starting to get into a rural area already. well my run off isn't going so well. Why is it when you run off a new part with a customer here things break. Like a full on 200 ton hydraulic press line had the press rip itself out of the base supports. All hands on deck right now welding the machine back to the base. Kind of hard to stamp a part when one of your 6 presses in the line are down. Oh well I get to stop for lunch. PS it snowed like mad here yesterday and shut down all the highways. Did I mention I AM SICK OF THIS F*&KING WINTER.

Wow - that's really cool about the bike shop having a picture of your grandfather and your dad!

I've contemplated a BMW for years - the K1300S is an absolute dream to ride, but it didn't quite have the "zip" factor, I still need to test ride the Ninja 1000, but for now it's my top pick for a next bike.

Yikes - good luck with the new part, and don't even TALK to me about winter - I'm DONE with this pewp!

PEWP isn't even a good word anymore for it. I looked at a BMW 650 I think it was the off/on road as well as a possible option. But fell out of love with that after test riding one. It was pretty gutless.

My Dyna Street bob is over 1600 CC and it well seems to have some getup and go. Plus I have a stage 1 kit and some really cool big radius V&H pipes with a 6 speed. I can't even get into 6th gear unless I am doing 70 mph and it is chugging at that stage.

I needed a bike that was short to the ground for me. The BMW I looked at would have required a $800 lowering kit.

Once I walked into Robinson and we talked about my grandfather I was sold. Plus the GF likes Harleys and promised it would get me pizza.(not that I needed to bribe her) I didn't get to take her on it last year. Having only rode a handful of times in the last few years. I wanted to put some miles on the bike before I bring anyone with me on it.

can't you block a number on an iPhone without going to the carrier? I know I have done this many times, so you might look at the phone itself without going through them

It's a great month to be in that town.  It starts with race week for Daytona 500, then Bike Week... and all the while you're in warm weather and near a beach and thousands of bikinis.

They moved Bike Week forward a week wrt the 500.  There are two weeks between them now.

To take MIL would certainly change the dynamics of the week for BIL and SIL.  They are escaping.  The condos are all actually owned by MIL.  She has very particular rules about housekeeping and taking care of her place.  It is funny but stressful.  It does not matter that the BIL and SIL are doing all the work to take care of the condos for her.  My MIL is great and generous and deserves every good thing you can say about an MIL.  But, BIL and SIL deserve a week in peace.  We will take her down separately sometime soon.  You are so right about spring in Florida before the mosquitoes and no-see-ums are out.  It is the best time of year.

Bikinis? I've never noticed those......

I would love a BMW too if I get "rich".  Hopefully they still make a shaft driven model.  I want one of those just to say I have one.

Waiting for GT game to start. Might be the end of the season for the Yellow Jackets.I spent the afternoon raking sweet gum balls and mowing the grass. I looked up at the number of gum balls still in the trees and thought sweet gum might make pretty good firewood.TW

Sand it with micro mesh, use a sanding sealer and use multiple layers of a good finish.

Yes I've considered it!

Can't help you with that. But I would likely buy a pen.

I have a pen fetish.

Good morning Kate!!!  I have sold through ETSY since I started making the triathlon pendants.  It is not where most of my things are sold, as I also do art shows and craft fairs and farmers markets.  Make up a lot of business cards, you will need them.  I have only been doing this a short time and have gone through over 1000 in the last year.  And for the cost, it does have people calling you back for a purchase.

When I was with AT&T I ran into this... was getting calls daily from some off shore number. I would have paid for it but my phone is a company asset and I've never seen the bill and am not authorized to add features like that.

Now with Verizon but I'm not sure on how they handle it.

Can you change your phone number and still be grandfathered with AT&T? Probably not but worth a shot?
