I think I will be going with the zipp 404 in front and 808 in back set up as well!I also invested in the Giro Advantage. can't wait to test it out! the helmet will sure do better than my $20.00 mnt bike helmet I wore at Steelhead.hahaha

I ride a 2009 Quintana Roo Chiqilo ~"Roo" as I call her, with a 2010 Mavic Cosmic Carbone Wheelset.  I'm not good at posting pics either (they are always too big!); however, if you look at IMFL under my Race Log, you can see a picture there!

2 hour ride on the trainer today.  SO looking forward to better weather

I'll be riding a Kestrel 4000 with Zipp 808 front & rear.  They ride very fast and comfy.

I too would post a pic, but the pic file is too large.  I'm looking forward to Lake Placid, as it is my first IM.  An intestinal infection took me out of the LPIM two years ago.  I suppose it was bad luck and bad timing (4 weeks prior to race).

It seems like evryones training is going well...Best of luck!

With some Mavics underneath. Currently at the LBS getting a new cassette - Ultegra 12-27 and a general tune up. Then off we go

How's everyone's training coming along? I'll be glad when the weather warms up a bit more.

How's everyone's training coming along? I'll be glad when the weather warms up a bit more.

If I were a girl, I'm 99% sure that's the Bike I'd be rocking!

Nice looking bikes, especially with the nice wheels.

I'm looking for carbon wheels and need help.  I don't know much about them other than reading up online, never ridden on anything other than stock rims.  I know of HED, ZIPP, EASTON, Reynolds, etc. among other brands , but it's hard to differentiate them other than by price.

My biggest question right now is depth for front and back?  Do I go with 60 front, 80 back, 60 or 80 for both, disc or disc cover in back?  Thanks.

I seen several discussions on this and  the general feedback is disc in the back.  Tons of folks at CDA had them including my coach.
