<3 <3 <3 Jojo ... talk about a 6-hour Salty-worthy shyte show!!!

All I can say is, thank God! (really that's all there is to say ... but you know I'm gonna say more)

Really long convoluted story and it really didn't look like I'd be getting to the IM site until the NIGHT BEFORE THE RACE (if they even let me register that late)

A lot of good things happened. I'm still out a few hundred bucks regarding rearrangements on the Japan side and will *barely* get to IM site Lake Toya in time for registration (need good road vibes!) but at least I'm blowing out of Korea like a bat out of hell! Now to just transfer that to the race course

I really would rather have kept my money and napped for 6 hours ... but it really is all good, too.

Much love and {MELON PRESS} to the Manatees.

I'm starting my virtual Yanti support early. I changed my avatar to one of her pics. We have a tradition in my family of changing our profile pics on special days, things like Mother's day or Father's day are celebrated with pics of special people. This is MerYanti weekend on BT for me.

Race well MerYanti, we know you will!

I saw that!  I also saw that southern Japan is going to have a very rainy Saturday.  Hopefully Hakkaido will not be affected.

Thanks. I encourage everyone to change it up this weekend! I was going to use her spider face pic (from her albums), or the Kingsley pic if I could go back and find it,  but this one really made me smile when I saw it.

After losing 2 hours of my life to watching Sharknado (all the DHs fault!), I'm fairly certain that as long as I've got hedge trimmers, I can take on any size shark out there!

Initially there were a few of us thinking of IMKY for next year, but I've ixnayed that one after realizing that me+heat+humidity = nothing good.  Also, I think it would be kinda cool to be part of an inaugural race.

IM Whistler is on tap for 2015.

Nope - I've made the executive decision to ixnay Lou.  Whizzz and I were trying to get a few people together to do it, but she's most likely not going to do an IM at all next year due to medical issues, and I've found that I really don't do well with high humidity and/or heat.  So... no Lou for me.

Instead:  Choo Chooooooo!!

It'll be interesting to see how fast IM Chat sells out.  There seems to be a lot of interest but IMMT and IMC are both still opened -- not to mendion CdA and TX which generally take a bit longer.  I'm thinking that we'll need to be fast to get into the it but I thought Boulder would go the first day (first hour!) too.

You guys are confusing my pea brain with the change in Avis! I'd do it myself, but I have no idea how to capture one of her pics and make it my own. Yes, I'm that dumb.

Was going to say that Chattanooga sounded more appealing as well even though though course selected isn't quite to my preference. Could still see the heat & humidity, but Lou's timing nearly guarantees that. The mountains in the area are nice and fortunately for you, the course doesn't actually seem to go up them.

I've already got the reminder set up in my calendar at work with a 30 minute reminder which will *hopefully* be enough time to finish the registration process so I can click the "broke button" at 11am my time...

Ha!  Sorry about that... though to be fair, Chris's avvy messed me up for a bit too.  I went to Yanti's FB page, chose a pic, saved it to my desktop and then edited my profile pic on BT with one of her.
