Go Triple T Girl. You'll do great and the weather should be fantastic for you!!! Next year is pretty obvious for me, doing the IMCA!!! I must admit that after Augusta I'm pretty psyched! I felt great after that race and have the confidence that, with the proper training, I really can complete an ironman. To be honest it is the marathon that scares me. For some reason the bike course feels long but doable however the idea of running a marathon afterwards just sounds so daunting. BUT CONFIDENCE GIRL,,,,, YOU'LL BE READY. Lots of gggggrrrrrrrrrrr in the tank! |

You'll see once you do those long bricks! |

Only $200? That has to be the cheapest Mile per dollar event in the Nation! To bad its a week after Knoxville next year and I am not going to miss the "coaching session" on how to improve my T2 time with the Master of Ceremonies (that would be John) from the MG! |

Have you heard any details on the Galveston Oly in this series? It appears to be a new event....or is it they moved the Lone Star Oly to October, but keeping the HIM and Sprint in April? |

Or at least tried to, I think they had some technical difficulties. As for the IM Oly series, meh, don't really care, most of those races were never on my list to do anyways. Not interested in 10,000 person Olympics. Too many people on too small of a course. I wouldn't pay more for IM vs any other race unless I thought I was getting more out of it. Full distance IM vs. Full distance non-IM brand I think there still is a gap, the HIM's and below not so much. |
