Hey Elaine.  How was your race?  Did you crush it, demolish it, and otherwise make it your bi&(h?

Glad you are better.

Funny you said that Tyl 3 etc does NOTHING for me for pain so I rarely take it. Recently found out tramadol and tramacet do nothing either. Advil was better.

However give me any sinus med. And I am buzzed right out can't concentrate my hair is tingly and I am wired until I crash.

I think anything with pseudoeffedrine sp? seems to make me spun.

Yesterday my 5 yr old learned how to climb a tree without any help! That is all he wants to do now is go climb trees. Only problem is that he has not yet mastered the "how do I get down" part of tree climbing. One step at a time...

I'd need to drop about 16 minutes to make it with the girls that applied this year. Yes. I said minutes.

I'm doing one more Oly in May. I think I have a faster run in me. Not 15 minutes faster... that'll take another year or two to get there.

I have a "telepresence" interview in a few hours (changed from in-person, VP is stuck in another city). I will walk into an empty conference room at the employer's offices and push a button for the VP to appear from another city. I'm intrigued - and nervous. I guess my shoe choice was not as important as I thought this morning...

Got my bracket filled out.  As a sentimental favorite, I have Wichita going probably ONE game too far, but what the heck.   I like picking surprises.  I have Mich St winning the whole thing as a #4...

Gravity will help teach him, one way or another

I was part monkey at that age, too.. climbing every tree in our yard.  We had some pretty tall maple's, too.  He'll figure it out.

That is some seriously awesome work, Elaine!  Bike & Run are the two easiest places to make up time.. .but, you're right, getting down into that 2:15:00 range is TOUGH.  Basically, you gotta absolutely smoke the bike, then run 6:30's.  You can definitely do it, though!

Panties, shoes, confidence.  Smile?  Good luck on the interview, Lisa!

Yup. It's run focus time. I'm excited. I like running. I like biking and swimming, too.

A girl on the team said she went from a 2:35 to a 2:09 in two years just by being focused and consistent. I can believe it.

I believe it, too.   I can only dream of times like that right now.  Sub-2:10 sure does sound nice, though!

Happy Thursday I have been swamped as all heck at work. Launching 4 new parts this week.

Kicking off 3 new production cells and kicking off about $2 million in tooling. My head is spinning around.

Happy to be in a job where I am stupid busy and using my brain again though. Sad to hear about all my ex coworkers laid off for the most part. but um I SAW that coming. Hashtag poormanagement

We really should be hiring people to help with all the work here. But have to respect my company for not wanting to hire people and then get rid of them in 10-12 months.

My boss just asked how I am dealing with all the stress.

My answer.. I LOVE IT.

its crazy the days fly by and I take about 10 mins for lunch at my desk answer emails scan some BT.

And back at it. I let the big wigs do the lunch with customers most of the time this gives me about 45 mins to breath and look at my other priorities on the floor.

It's the first day of Spring.  We should sacrifice a virgin if we could find one.

Mini poll.  How should TAN commemorate Spring?

A) Do something triathlete-y if we can find our gear.

B) Wear green and pinch someone.  We are mostly a little slow.

C) Play Stravinski's Rites of Spring on the stereo really loud and make humping noises to entertain the neighbors.

Your suggestion?

Too bad it's cloudy today. I'd get home just in time to check out the Gungywamp equinox ancient calendar. Kind of like Stonehenge lite

I would like to believe this is real, but there are so many internet hoaxes.  Is this the Connecticut version of crop circles?
