Bleh. I am here. I am also VERY tired. I have not even had time to keep up with the bEASTies thread.

I repeat: Bleh. In fact" Bleh, bleh, bleh and more bleh!

OK, now that I'm all blehed out, I'm off to eat some dinner.

ebshot - 2010-03-12 6:10 PM On a side note, we looked at the Nook today at B&N.  Does anyone have an ereader?  Which one?  Would you recommend it?

My partner has a Kindle but I haven't really had the chance to try it. It is probably going to become mine after she gets her iPad at the end of April.

Funny, I was just looking at the iPad preview on the Apple site.  We are a big Apple family (the kids have an iMac and both Bry and I have MacBooks, plus we each have at least one iPod).  I'm not sure I am gonna pull the trigger on the iPad yet.  But it looks like a ton of fun!

We've narrowed it down to the Kindle or Nook.  They both look pretty much the same.

KOM - 2010-03-12 5:56 PM How was your date to the great Ocean State???

                         *******Friday Night Date Night TopPage*******

It was so fun!  We had breakfast at the Middle of Nowhere Diner and then swung by and got an Easy Pass for Bry's travel.  Hung out for a bit in Jamestown and then headed to Warwick to get Alex's birthday gift (lacrosse gear), went to Barnes and Noble and then had lunch at Smokey Bones.  Took the long way home and got back with a bit of time to spare before the kids came bounding off of the bus.  A great day all around.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm.... smokey bones..... already enjoyed my steak tonight. Still enjoying my wine.... but now I'm dreaming of ribs and cornbread with pecan butter.

I love ribs and Smokey Bones in Albany is one of my favorites. I make sure to get there when I'm up for Tour de Cure and to visit my family.

Dinner was at 7 at a Belgian restaurant in town called Mannequin Pis. I had a wonderful seafood dish and two Belgian beers. Yum :)

My son-in-law got the sony ereader to take with him when he deploys.  He is really enjoying it.  He got it at Christmas.

Nice!

I need to head to bed also.  I've got a long run planned for tomorrow and it isn't going to be fun on little sleep.

Good morning team! I slept great last night... the first time in a long time that I was up before the alarm and not wishing for more shut eye! I have basketball with the little ones today then a trainer ride. Will also run a mile with my 9yr old...she is in training for j-hawk kids tri at the end of April.
Have a great day bEASTies!

Good Morning team!

I am not as energetic as Kim sounds this morning.  I let the dogs out at 7 and went back to bed.  Next thing it was 9:30! OMG I never sleep that late.  I think I am just getting run down and needed the rest.  It is windy and raining here.  I will try to run and swim.  More importantly I need to buy a new clothes dryer.  Ours has no heat....not too effective drying clothes.  The laundry pile could probably be seen on Google Earth!

Woke up with a bit of a headache; good thing I'm taking a rest day. Could have something to do with the two beers I had with dinner (yup, I'm a cheap date).

Happy Saturday bEASTies!

Just popping in quickly for an update. . . I think I'm the most ridiculous person when it comes to preparing for training.  ie, Apparently I thought it was a good idea to go out last night and have 2 beers and 4 cocktails at an open bar party, knowing I'd have to run 18 miles at 8am this morning.  I apparently thought it was also a good idea to get cheese fries and more beer at Portillo's at midnight, after the party.  Ugh!

So yeah, I was having a hard time getting up this morning to go to my run. . . And it was raining/misting/foggy so I was having a REALLY tough time convincing myself to go.  But then I thought of you guys and didn't want to fall behind in my goals, so I went and ran with my group.  I had a surprisingly good run - I can't believe I almost convinced myself not to go!  Now with this 18-miler done, I really only have the 20-miler left (in 2 weeks), then I start my marathon taper!

Now it's time for food and shower. . . Then off to packet pickup for my 5k race tomorrow.  Whee!!

Thanks for taking one for the team--glad it worked out so well.  God luck at your 5K

For me, it was a quick treadmill run with a REALLY great ST session.  Finished up with some yoga, and now I feel like a million bucks!

Have a great day bEASTies--it's a washout here in New Jersey.

Good Sunday morning Team,

thanks for all the congrats, unfortunately lost my big ride time yesterday due to the various visitors dropping in to see Dealaney so have a bit of work to catch up on.

Got my mate Marty through his first tri, he loved it and will do more which I'm happy about as I need him distracted from golf so I can get a chance to beat him (he plays off handicap of 4 so not likely unfortunately).  Our tri season here is coming to an end as we hit autumn so might be a few fun runs and the like between now and the next tri.

Need to know how to post pictures too if someone has simple instructions
