Wait, is that a calf? Mmmm And what the sh*t is behind it? Large colored rocks or garbage? Colored rocks? Just keep telling that to yourself. |

But, but ... the calf has, to this date been lick-less. Unconfirmed! I've chewed BTers' calves upon first meeting. Possibly before introductions. 'Tis true. Perhaps it's an art installation. Also, we have been extensively working on opening the India market and uh their garbage/recycling "program" is ... well I don't quite have the words. |

Also, I was extremely sleep deprived so I put myself in a little slower group last night at practice. We did a flow workout. 3 miles at LT (although it wasn't quite LT for me) with a faster final mile. I was leading a group (it's so funny that this happens because I am the ONLY one without a watch)but everyone but two people dropped off so it was just me and this other guy who did the workout together. We did: Mile 1: 7:05 Mile 2: 7:05 Mile 3: 7:05 Mile 4: 6:40 He was wearing a headlamp (on the track ...) and was running behind me so it was casting a really awkward shadow of me on the track (as we don't have lights on at practice.) Glad you got a good session, even with the lack of sleep. I hope the champagne was worth the injury. I have a night leg on a relay I do in April. The support car has to drive behind me and off to the side a bit. I hate staring at the shadow of me running for 7 miles! |

Therapist who came highly recommended. That appointment is tomorrow at 2:00. Went to spin class yesterday, felt OK today, I'm still limping though, it's interesting how long this inflamation can last. The PC doc mentioned cortizone as an option but didn't recommend it. I'll chat with PT to get more ideas input etc. Will swim tonight, maybe try and run a few miles after, we'll see how the foot feels. |

Master 2770 Central Kansas | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Beyond Ridiculous Manatees PART 6--CLOSED jmkizer - 2012-11-06 6:03 PM A friend of mine -- Maria527 -- has a bike with 650 wheels and she wrote the following when I asked her about using it on a trainer: I have 650 wheels on my Tri bike and I have CycleOps magnetic (not sure how that differs from fluid); however I use my road bike (700s) on my trainer. But I do recall putting my Tri bike on it when I first bought it and I had to adjust the piece that screws out to fit the smaller frame. I would also recommend a bike block because the wheels are small and the front end of the bike might slant down too much without a bike block to even the front wheel with the back wheel. But it should fit with a few adjustments. Good luck! Thank you, Janyne. I have been using a heavy volume of a printed encyclopedia under the front tire. (Print is good for some things.) The CycleOps guy wasn't really that helpful. He said with 650s the tension is at its limit. I am going to do what you suggested earlier. I'll set the tension and then just lock and unlock. I don't know why I didn't think of that before. It will still wear on the L bolt, but maybe I can make it last a little longer. Fortunately, to replace the cam lever and L bolt is around $10, so we're not talking big money. |

Strasburg sock! Cold potato rolling! Glad to hear you're on your way to getting ungimped, Peanutbutter. OMG. Now it's 5:30am and I am seriously considering making peanut butter cookies for breakfast. I mean, peanuts are a vegetable, right? Aren't they a legume? Or not? They do grow in the ground . . . not on a tree. Technically as a kind of nut that makes them a fruit - maybe? Whatever full of something good I'm sure, do it. |
