Physical differences aren't things you can really argue. i expect that people will accept that i'm not strong enough to do things guys can. At the same time, i'm better at math and science than most guys, and i fully expect that i should not be treated differently in the technical realm simply because i have breasts and a vagina. I don't think there's anything else I could say. Schwamm summed it up perfectly. |

Spokes - 2008-05-08 11:54 AM The downside of being really tall is people automatically assume you either play basketball, like basketball, etc. I knew a guy that was 6'9" that was pushed into sports by his dad and ultimately ended up hating everything sports-related that was organized, and isn't pushing his own children into anything. OTOH, tall guys generally get hotter girls. Its documented fact. I hate the fact I'm only 5'5". Being a short male is a miserable existence, you simply get used to the jokes, etc. but you never really learn to feel good about yourself. hey shorty... while you're down there, tie my shoes for me, eh? Look... we all as human beings make fun of the other... I was/am fat... they always commented on what I ate or thought I SHOULD eat... My blonde hair earned me more toe head comments. My glasses earned me "four eyes" "geek" "nerd"... etc. People are always going to say things that are stupid... The important thing is learning to be centered in your own identity.
