tahrens - 2009-11-18 9:02 AM How odd is my life?   I am sitting in my office listening to Christmas music, my right butt cheek feels like someone drove a red hot poker into it, I have a stability belt wrapped around my hips and I'm reviewing a data folder about isolating liver cells from a dog.   What are all of you doing right now?

Just sent out the daily sales report for the company, getting ready to go make some decaf and check in on my help desk guys...  Gotta run payroll in a minute and set up for next week when I will be gone...   Staring at a stack of action items.

Oh yeah - and cruising BT...

Listening to WRNR online, (Christmas music starts Friday), surfing the web on how much sugar is in the 2 Hershey nuggets I just ate and how much added sugar a person should have in a day, posting some content to a new affiliate website, and waiting to go out to lunch w/ my boss to go over my performance review that I wrote a few weeks ago.  And realizing I need to pee (large coffee this morning) but I'm too lazy to get up and walk the 100 or so feet to the bathroom!

I am reviewing 350 patents relating to various electrical components and methods, categorizing them, and identifying the one's with the broadest claims. No pokers in any body parts though.

I only understood the word 'reviewing'....Wink

I just went in search of a new pencil. My current ran out of lead. It's a 0.5.I have extra 0.7 lead in my desk, so that didn't work. I did locate a new 0.7 pencil. We'll see how it goes. I'm partial to the 0.5.

Oh and I'm listening to a coworker who is soooooo annoying tell us how her husband got robbed in Mexico last week. She is so loud and annoying. He probably spent the cash on ladies and booze.

What ever happened to the good old #2 lead pencil? Great for chewing on as well as writing. Hey Sam, that might qualify as a low calorie, high fiber, mid afternoon snack.  Just throw in a little Elmers and you're all set.

My wife still uses them at home. We don't have 'sharpeners' at the office though. Plus #2's are old school. The click pencils are the wave of the future.HA

And yes Sam, probably a good snack. Lots of fiber.

Just running through my normal morning routine - Email, Dilbert, Woot, BT, SteapandCheap (& affiliates).  Running a little behind this morning, more time on BT than I expected - you guys are "busy".
I'm going to cut out for a little bit today and do some Christmas shopping with my wife -  I can't remember the last time we were out of the house without the kids.  I suggested a hotel room, but she insisted on shopping

Pencils?  Who still writes stuff down?  I might have a pen in one of my desk drawers, not really sure.

Saw your post in the Gear section on the Adamo Andy.

I like mine, I have the race but I do still end up having some discomfort later in races so was thinking about checking out the Cobb V-flow saddles, they get a lot of good reviews also.

Might be another model worth checking out.

Pointy end points forward, wider part in back.  Padded part on top, plastic part on bottom.

There you go, problem solvedLaughing

edited to say that I didn't realize I was THAT late to the party...I was busy doing a one hour Z2 ride on my trainer while you poor souls were busy working hard!

And now I am at work submitting a bunch of insurance claims daydreaming about my lunch (leftover chicken cacciatore from the slow cooker 2 nights ago...yummmmmmm....i am always hungry these days)

Will all of you pray for weather that tops out at 80F this year instead of 104F???  Am I crazy?  Or just a glutton for punishment!  I figure it can't happen 2 yrs in a row.  Good news is my swim start will be an hour earlier than last time

I just finished up a meeting the sales rep for Callaway golf.  Now I am watching the few crazy golfers continue to play in the rain.  If I were them, I could find something else to do - especially since i can play golf anyday of the week!

How about my morning instead of right now.... Jarrett went to the doc so I stayed at home with Jacy, in the flannel pj's on the couch... she slept on my chest.  I stared at the den ceiling for and hour and a half with her there.  Makes the rest of my frustrating day seem so irrelevant.
