Boo!  At least they gave you a lot of advanced warning but it still sucks.

Here is what they're looking at.

WOW...that is seriously bad and crazy!  Yeah, please stay away from that area, TJ.  Bummer you will be missing a race, though.

Today we have a little something from Dale Carnegie - “It isn't what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about.”

Enjoy the weekend!!!!

great timing Chris, I'm reading one of his books

Janyne, what saddle are you using, Cobb? I am finally test riding a Specialized Romin this weekend. All the roadies I group ride with swear by them. There are very few pieces of equipment that I feel strongly about, but I think that the saddle will be in the small group of "Gear that matters to Chris". And I am a Balega lover as well.

Definitely believe in paying attention to that area as well. Any point of contact with the bike really as they'll be there for quite awhile. Both Cobb and Adamo have some good offerings there. Some others are starting to pick it up too. Like Specialized with the Sitero and Bontrager has something now too.

I guess guys have a different way of going about gear. Basically everything not labeled "hi viz" is the same color. It all has a different use or range of operation.

ETA: And you didn't bother to ask what my race suit was, hmmph!

Here is what they're looking at.

WOW...that is seriously bad and crazy!  Yeah, please stay away from that area, TJ.  Bummer you will be missing a race, though.

WOW, that is super scary looking flooding.  Be safe!!

Yeah, it's crazy. We were about an hour in to our drive when I got the email that the race was cancelled. I emailed my niece because she was driving in from Kansas. She opted to continue on to Denver to see her parents. We discussed it but DH was inclined to turn around. So we did. I'm still sad. This is our 3rd Denver cancellation in as many months, today is my niece's birthday, and I was really really really looking forward to that race. Nothing to be done about it now I suppose. But it takes the Brooks port-a-potty option off the table for Rock N Roll because they have to be purchased at Denver retailers.

So I decided to take today off anyway because I'm still pouting about the whole situation. It's raining/flooding here too. So I'm staying inside, couldn't run or bike this morning, just hanging with the dogs, cleaning, baking and watching the haps on BT.

There are very few pieces of equipment that I feel strongly about, but I think that the saddle will be in the small group of "Gear that matters to Chris". And I am a Balega lover as well.

Yes, I am using the Cobb v flow plus

I have the Cobb v flow plus on my road bike and an Adamo prologue on my tri bike. Both are comfy. Of course, me not being a guy the fact that they work for me may not me anything for you, Chris.

I guess guys have a different way of going about gear. Basically everything not labeled "hi viz" is the same color. It all has a different use or range of operation.

ETA: And you didn't bother to ask what my race suit was, hmmph!

OK.  What's your race suit?  And what are you rockin for your high vis color?

Suit is a Kiwami Amphibian.

I've liked green more than orange for the hi viz color.

Race well or heal up. Be fast about it, no matter which you are doing!
