Janyne, what saddle are you using, Cobb? I am finally test riding a Specialized Romin this weekend. All the roadies I group ride with swear by them. There are very few pieces of equipment that I feel strongly about, but I think that the saddle will be in the small group of "Gear that matters to Chris". And I am a Balega lover as well.

Yes, I am using the Cobb v flow plus

I have the Cobb v flow plus on my road bike and an Adamo prologue on my tri bike. Both are comfy. Of course, me not being a guy the fact that they work for me may not me anything for you, Chris.

I'm really liking my Flow Plus as well. Putting several hours in on the trainer during the week, then 60+ miles every weekend. No complaints so far.  DH has the Max and is happy with it.

OMG.  It's now 3:30 in the afternoon and I haven't had time to finish a single cup of coffee.

How have I not stabbed someone???

I'd like to crawl under my desk and hide for a while now.

It is Friday the 13th, so someone should expect a stabbing. Tell those attorneys to stop working you so hard.

This is a very valid point and I will be sure to add it to my argument when making my "not guilty by reason of Friday the 13th" plea.

Seriously... I have ONE cup of coffee a day and I haven't been able to finish it.  Grrrrr!

There is no excuse for not letting a person to finish her cup of coffee. No jury in the world would convict you for such a justifiable stabbing.

I often have an Americano in the late afternoon and someone made a comment about me not being able to sleep.

Do people really have that issue?

I admittedly am one of the lucky ones who can fall asleep the second I'm in bed (really, not kidding!) I think I could sleep standing up if I tried.

But it's nuts to think some people couldn't sleep because they had a cup at 3:00 pm.

I had a friend who could have several cups of coffee at 10pm and be asleep by 10:30. Other friends refuse to drink it after 3 or 4. I can't decide if they're weird or I am for not caring when I drink it... maybe I've built up a super tolerance.

Incredible!  I think 2 beers might even be in order, and I second Chris' idea to drink it at mile 2000.

Edited to add: oops, I was in a rush and didn't notice you were going to hit your milestone during a race.  Fine, save the beers for afterward!

Well one year ago I tried my very first Triathlon. Tomorrow is my one year anniversary in this crazy sport and it has changed my life. Even tho this is just a sprint it means alot since it was my first one and I plan to crush last years time. Hopefully I will. Either way it's going to be a fun day.

Oh and for those that are wondering....I did throw away the speedfill and switch to BTA bottle. Can't believe I completely changed my hydration system the day before a race but I think it's going to be best in the long run. Here we go!!

I guess guys have a different way of going about gear. Basically everything not labeled "hi viz" is the same color. It all has a different use or range of operation.

There's one thing missing from his list.

Cat tights!

Nice tights. I think my sight will return soon.
Just when you think it will you catch another glimpse and the horror blindness starts all over again

Manateeeeeeees loose on Perth!

This is me and Stace Face ... we were gonna take another pic but decided this one really captured the moment, not to mention essence of our joyous meeting.

And these are her six gigantic (serious understatement) snausages.

Finally ... astronomically bad puzzy tights. The word "puzzy" and "tight" usually go well together ... NO.

Although frankly I think they might be an improvement on my usual getups.
