(thinking today is also going to be a tough one.) Go ahead let us know. i cannot really say because i need to not talk about him like i have been...grr...damn spiritual maturity class Sounds like emotional supression to me. Good way to get ulcers and hypertension. I've been saying all sorts fo unsavory things about a certain bank and all of their employees all week. no not quite - i've been speaking quite openly with people i trust and can count on for grounded advice, but i should not run around airing someone else's dirty laundry - that is not my place nor the right thing to do (although i sure want to) Boooo! |

(thinking today is also going to be a tough one.) Go ahead let us know. Here you go... Yesterday, for the 3rd day in a row, I was told by a bank employee that the check I deposited last Friday would be available the following day. Today makes the fourth. We were supposed to close on Monday. If I ever get to buy this f'n house, me and wachovia are done. ugh, honey, no wonder you're stressed. sorry to hear that. usually it's the closing agency that effs up your closing, not your own bank! Yep... the title complany, the lender and the realtor have all been great. They've completely changed their schedules around each time to accomodate me. Now I get to call them all again to say... we can't close until tomorrow... for the 4th day in a row. Oh, and the utility company turned off the water at my current/rental house yesterday despite me requesting it be turned off at the end of the month. So, no running water... no shower... no toilet... no morning coffee. Sweet. yuck...morning tequila, then? i'll be out in town center tomorrow night! maybe i'll be drunk and gossip at ya :-P |

Sensei Sin City | Subject: RE: Tan #86 - I told you so... NO TROUBLE!!! She is the best... BUT, It hit me full force recently that there are some really cool people in the world that I would like to get to know a bit better and you can't because you get married... Now, if it was a guy, no problem. I could go out for drinks or golfing and get to know them. But since it's a cool chick, I can't... Oh well. It's not like I want a intimate relationship, I'm 100% happy with what I have, but it would be nice to know someone (a girl) more than just the small talk and idle chat. I think it's a little sad that getting married is sort of like putting self imposed limits/restrictions on yourself. But you make the small sacrafices for the greater good... That's all. |

In general, though, it is hard to get to know people of the opposite sex well because there's always the perception issues. Plus, if the other person is single, you never know what they are thinking. Not saying it's right or wrong, it just is. |
