yeah, it's the same exact exercise, though I never need to add weight to feel it, but I'm thick like that

You are my kinda thick!

I feel like the grass seems greener on the other side sometimes as a woman.  When I was young before I discovered exercise I wished I had curves.  Then I found weight training, got a booty and wondered if it was too big.  Now as primarily an endurance athlete I wish it was a little bigger.  But even at 14% bf I can always find a SOMETHING that I wish would tighten up a little.  While at same time wondering do I look too skinny???

AAGGHH!

Woah, you are 14%?

Yep.  The sad part is that 3 months ago or so when I was around 16%, I decided to lower my cardio and up my calories in hopes of gaining some fat and revving up my lady cycles which have not been occurring for some time.  A few weeks ago, tested at 14%.  Well that didn't work!

Funny yoga story. Bout 10 in class all women, mostly new...Two teenage girls came today. Cell phone goes off several times...guy's voice says "hey beautiful, you have a new text message". It's loud and no one gets up to turn it off. Mentally, I put my money on a teenager. After class a couple of people said something about "Could turn it off next time" as they left, but no one picked up phone. When just me and girls were left, one of them finally grabbed it. Bet she leaves it on at theater too? LOL. oh, and core done!

haha! That's hilarious. I might have had Beastie Boys "Girls" as my ring tone during grad school. And I might have forgotten to turn it off during seminar. And I may have pretended I had no idea who's phone was ringing as it emanated from my backpack under the round table and the teacher got more pizzed by the second. . You know, hypothetically.

It might be that, when I was coaching, I used to go to coaches meetings with a list of people's cell numbers. I'd put my phone on silent, hide it under the table, and call just about everyone in the room that I knew to see who's phone would ring.

Solid 15 minutes of core done!

About 8 years ago I had Rob Zombie's Dragula as my ring tone.  I went to a really nice Christmas service at with my family at my church and SWEAR I turned that ringer off.  But here we are in the middle of the service:

Dig through the ditches and

Burn through the witches and

Slam in the back of my DRAGULA

And it was obviously coming from my purse.  Wanted to die from embarrassment.

I'm still hangin'.
Did a long run/grocery shopping/lawn mow brick last night, then some core work before bed.
Have to work all day on Saturday when I usually do my swim sets. GAWD I hate that, but the overtime is pretty sweet.
Try for a pic on Sunday.

If you had, you know what they would have played at the funeral. Wink  And I bet they were all humming it after they were done singing Silent Night. It's kind of a catchy tune. hehehehe

Hi all, got 20 minutes in last night, and 10 minutes in just now.   I am only one day behind now...may try to get it in after dinner tonight.  We leave Amsterdam for Belgium tomorrow!

I am a day behind now. Went to an all day tailgate before the Jimmy Buffett show in Detroit on Saturday night, and then on Sunday I drove back to Grand Rapids. Felt okay, but just totally forgot to do core work. Realized it this morning. I tend to do 15 minutes or so almost every day anyways, but I'll try to double up to 20 for a day or two in order to make sure I am current.

I actually feel pretty guilty when I miss something like this...Ugh.

I come to you seeking absolution.

I took the week off while I was in Chicago -- from almost everything (except touristy walking/swimming/riding). I guess I needed the break. But I'm ready to get back to work again.

I am woefully behind, with no chance of catching up, so I'll just have to jump in here.

I've also been slacking on the core work this past week...probably from biking and running almost every dang day.  I'm taking a full day off today then back at it!

Once I got past the swim it was a blast :) (I have a mini RR in the tri forum right now).Ready to get back at it, but my neck is still really hurting. It almost feels like whiplash. I haven't done core since last Wednesday because of it :/ I may need to start over. Yes, I think I will :)
