Hi TAN!

What is the etiquette when dealing with a laundry room for an apartment building?  I went down at 7:30 this morning to get laundry done first thing and all washing machines (all 3 of 'em) are full as are all dryers (yep, three of those too).  The stuff in the dryers are stone cold and the stuff in the washing machines has clearly been sitting there for hours.

Is it cool to move the stuff so that I can use the machines?

Make sugar daddy pay for laundry service. Should you really be tasked like this?

Thanks for the awesome help Pitt!  The sugar daddy is trying to come up with the money to KEEP ME IN THE COUNTRY so I think I'll let him slide on this one.

Aren't there other ways for him to keep you in the country?

Oh I know, you could join the Air Force... There you go...

No, actually there aren't other ways.  Some silly thing about me NOT being an American citizen or having a Green Card.

Paper marriage? Don't you get a green card that way? or is that a misconception?

It's a HUGE misconception that a marriage certificate really means anything.

That's not what the divorce lawyer told me.

Morning friends!

CONGRATS Brad!!! Did you get your beer yet?

Monica tough call on the laundry. I didn't particularly mind when my stuff would be taken out of the drier and placed in my basket, but moving from washer to dryer could be trickier, since some stuff (lots of mine) never touches the drier. I'd be kinda ticked if someone put all of my dry tech stuff and shrinkable sweaters and what not in a dryer...

3 washers/dryers doesn't' seem like many! My old building had 6 of each. LOVED getting 4 or 5 loads done in the time of 1 cycle...

I also never minded if people pulled my clothes out of the machine.  I used to pull clothes when I did laundry in the building I lived in.  Now, I just go to the laundromat and get a week and a half of clothes through the machines in under an hour and a half.

Being significantly injured is worse.  I paid someone to cut into my elbow, put in 13 screws and a plate or two, a custom splint, a bunch of xrays....

I saw the x-rays in your album. Dude, that looks painful.  There's a nerve that runs just inside that joint.  How's is sensation in the fingers?

You might want to start building that extra bathroom now.

Are the screws and plate carbon? or at least red?

BTW Elaine, I also got an Adamo Saddle and a bike light in the last month. And some aerobars, so I think that the aero helmet will have to wait

Touche.

All I paid for were x-rays, a cortisone injection, and a doctor to treat me like crap. Hoping it stops there and doesn't turn into an MRI and PT or surgery...

So, on my morning (5:30 am) bike ride, I rode over an opossum. Was minding my own business when the guy came out of nowhere and BAM! Aren't they supposed to play dead when threatened?

I ride a loop, and the next pass he was nowhere to be seen, so hopefully the furry guy is OK. I'm afraid that on my next ride I will encounter an opossum gang out for revenge that will tear me to shreds...

No, no.  That is not true.  Daughters are truly the most remarkable thing that can happen to a guy.  You must have done something good.  More likely, your wife is being punished.  She may have it rough for a year or so or maybe a decade in a few years.  Dads, we get to drive the towboat, take the prom pictures, and brag to our friends.  And we also promise them them that we will pick them up from wherever they are if they call, no questions asked.  If you do it right, they do call.

Ha Ha Florida's version of sewer rats!!  Those things are everywhere and there is at least one smooshed in the road on my way to work pretty much every day.

This gives me hope. I can see my daughter being a challenging teen and this at least reminds me of all the good that will go along with any of the "not so good."
