TAN #188: Festive Holiday TANkfulness! (Page 37)

That's about the way it is here.  Little chilly on this morning's run, but it'll warm up into the 60's later.

I just ordered a puffy jacket.  The kind that make you look like you're wearing a sleeping bag outside - but I don't care if I end up being that person who's wearing so many layers that I can't put my arms down - I want to be WARM, dammit! 

You should get a matching puffy shirt for Tony.

I have a fabulous polar parka from my Colorado days - the kind you can wear at the ice cap.  I don't think I have put it on in 10 years. 

I'll have to figure out how to mail the snow to you without it melting since FED-EX and all those other services charge an arm and a leg.

On the other hand, if you are saying "when I get some" in a different meaning and since I don't "get some" at home anyways, it looks like I won't be sending snow to you.

how is everyone? I am having a day where I should have stayed in bed.

forgot my lunch forgot my steel toe shoes. Pretty sure I walked my dog this morning I might have walked a gym bag instead. who knows.

I'd love a day in bed. If only work paid me to NOT show up...

Then I have to meet up with an "IT Rating Panel" to weed out geek Network Admin applicants for a partnered organization the rest of the afternoon.  I'm so excited.  Be good, TAN.

I didn't show up a few days ago. Then I worked the Saturday and they didn't pay for that. But the union people call in all the time on the floor and still get paid over time.

Great company GRRRR oh and union people get pension too. But they have it so bad on the floor just ask them.

I can pay you to spend the day in my spare bed over xmas...

while I hobble around..

I though you might be tired because of having to try and fight me for the covers I selfishly hogged last night... sadly for you, you lost in looking at the way I was absolutely cocooned in the blankets this morning. 

Once we win the lottery, we shall buy some fancy schmancy new blankets that I'll try not to steal in the middle of the night.

Now that I have a queen size bed to myself and my dog back most of the time I let her sleep with me. Some how this has turned into me getting about 8 inches of a queen size bed while an 80 lb malamute gets the rest.
