Had the pleasure of meeting Brie and her husband last night!!!!!! I encourage you all to get to Boston and meet them immediately. They are awesome. Plus, as far as I know, Boston is still standing. See! You can trust us!

I went to the expo yesterday to pick up all of my stuff. My brother got all teary eyed. I guess it never occurred to me that this means something to anyone else but myself. I am SO lucky to have such an amazing group of people who support me and you are all included. Thank you all. I don't say it enough.

Manatee in a race car!!!!

Heh.

So djoo get my text??? REALLY comforting, huh?

And you're awesome.

If I were eloquent and gentle I'd do the same you did for me, but since I'm not. HTFU Yanti.

HAH! 2 for 2.

Gimme some dat poutine. I'm eating Nutella straight outta the jar. Where's my waffle?

Ill give you some poutine! Funny you mention Nutella. That's one of the dips that comes with the waffles. So good!

amd723 - 2013-04-13 9:52 PM Woo Hoo, look at the neat award I "won" at my Left Behind, Left Over HM.

CONGRATULATIONS 14-HANDS-MARIE!!!

Hey, I could walk pretty fast too if I had 14 or even under that hands. Like a caterpillar!

Will someone please explain "14 hands

All I can think about is a wine reference?  (14 hands is a fairly popular wine here).

You didn't miss the post, it's in reference to a post I made last fall where I was weighing the pros and cons of doing a particular ride. While weighing those pros and cons I did a lot of " On one hand ..." And " on the other hand..." In doing that I used a lot of hands!

Aw man. The New Zealand piglet who adopted us just wrote and sent pics of Khan (his giant, and I mean biggest I've ever seen Rottweiler--doesn't show up in the photo but the personality does) and Khan's pet bunnies. Yes, the bunnies are Khan's pets, not his. They sleep with him and he herds them around the yard! I posted pics of the boy (not the dog) in an earlier thread, very yummy. I miss him, and Taupo. I seem to write that in my journal nearly every day.

Ian (the piglet) calls the rabbits "spoilt rats" and buys them fresh coleslaw to eat from the store!

I had a bit of a downer start to my day...went out for my run, and just up the street there was a poor wittle squished kitty in the middle of the road...  I promised myself if it was still there when I finished my run I would deal with it.  It was.  I did.  Thankfully it looked like it was quick for the poor little thing.  I wish people who lived near busy roads wouldn't let their kitties outside. Thank you, Yanti.  I am glad you posted these pictures--they have brightened my day.  I love giant rotties.  Especially when they are gentle enough to have bunnies as pets .  My big dog (not a rottie) had a kitty.  It was his kitty, not mine.  They both knew it.

And I had the pleasure of meeting Adrienne, her brother, and her sister in law.  THey were all fun and funny and awesome, no surprise!  Boston is still standing because DH and I are LAME and had to both drive home and get this morning at 7am. Boooo!  I would have LOVED to hit the drag bar - I'm a drag virgin!

We had dinner at a pretty cool bar/restaurant, but I wish I had just gotten the dinner I wanted - crab cake were like crab PANcakes - because I was up 1.5 lbs at WW - double boo!

That breaks my heart.  I tried to save a hit kitty one night but he didn't make it.  I was just glad that he got taken off the road somewhere safe and I petted him while he passed.  That was very kind of you to get that poor baby out of the road.  I too wish people wouldn't let their cats out - it's why mine are inside.

Hey Salty,Just read that Sister Madonna is running Boston (then a week later doing NO 70.3, then a week later St Anthony's, then a week later another 70.3), so in case you need more motivation: don't let this 82 year old nun beat you!
