Allergies are out of controls, and I had my windiest bike ride ever yesterday, at least for some sections. What is "windiest bike ride ever" mean in your neck of the woods? Curious if I am a wind-whiner, or if Kansas really does "blow" (I have my suspicions!). For me it was in a place called DeKalb where there were gusts up to 40-50mph and it seemed like it was constantly either head-on or crosswinds. No matter which direction we turned, it was never a tailwind. Ever. It was supposed to be a century ride, but we cut it short after 50 and I had a mini-tantrum at the side of the road. If it's DeKalb, Ill, I know it. I know people from there. |

Yep, DeKalb, IL, and after that experience, I don't think I ever want to go bike riding there again - I'll stick to riding around here or with Crowny or Whizzz! Hmmm... now that I think about it, I haven't had a tantrum on any the rides with them, but I did have to be rescued from the side of the road by random strangers who may or may not have been axe murderers. Clearly they either weren't murderers or weren't feeling particularly stabby that day as I'm still here. |

I've been caught by the ocean breeze on an out and back ride. 35-40 miles going east; no problem. Coming home; BIG problem. Not fun... |

That happens all the time along the lakefront too - pedaling along having a fabulous ride north & enjoying the scenery, being on the bike, life in general and then you reach the turnaround point and have to come back... |

Your bike is still a virgin; she's merely been felt up on top of the sweater at her first keg party. |

I think it might hit +1 degree C here today.. OMG +1 I might wax my car. My stupid BBM isn't working on my blackberry today. First time I have had an issue with one of my blackberry phones in 6 years. |

Enjoy the ride... it's a great streak to get on, for sure It doesn't happen nearly often enough. Chris, you would like the restaurant choice. http://www.woodfiregrill.com Kevin Gillespie (Top Chef finalist in 2009) brought this restaurant up from a wood-fired pizza place to a local sourced foodie place. Gillespie left recently and another of the Atlanta trained chefs, Tyler Hamilton, took over and it has maintained very high standards. Strawberries, kale and other good things are in season. It will be good. I better get on the bike. TW

Dude really BB has been an excellent product for me through my career. I have had very little issues. I was peeved it was dated but I have had the Z10 since it came out and had no issues with it. It works flawless I run android apps if I want. But I use my phone for personal and business. I don't play video games on it etc. I have loved it from day one. |

OhMyGosh, those pics on their page look UhMayZing! I seriously, definitely would like that place. I love that they build their menu around seasonal ingredients... and I really want to try those lamb shanks!

Elite 5145 Cleveland | Subject: RE: TAN #203: TANese New Year - Horsing Around The girlfriend is spending the night with her little ones tonight, then hitting the road at 3am to drive to her parent's house in Tennessee for their Spring Break.
So, it appears that I have a scheduled wakeup at 3am tomorrow .... might use that to get in an (VERY) early trainer ride. 1:30:00 w/ 5x5 repeats on the schedule, and it'll be my first ride with the fancy new power meter, so I'm kinda looking forward to it.
Man, that is going to make for a looooong day. |

There is a multi-use trail for much of the ride. The route is published by a nearby bike shop. It is called 10 Neighborhoods. It is supposed to be scenic and bike friendly. I have never done it. See you kids later. TW |
