Originally posted by nancylee Good morning, My crazy incredibly fit sister convinced me to do the Gore Mountain Leaf Cruncher Trail Race on Saturday, and I am still out of breath from it!! It was incredibly hard - technical, and hills that had me gasping, even though I was walking up them! I did a report if anyone is interested. Going to skip today's run, wish I could get into the lake or a pool, but don't have time or a pool membership. I am really sore still. BTW, could anyone explain to me how the Inspires work? Thanks! Nancy

Great work!  I'm looking forward to the race report!

Good morning/afternoon/evening, depending on your time zone!  At the request of TJ, I will post me in my Team Fight kit with Rico before I went out for my ride yesterday (although it was chilly - I changed back into a SS jersey and arm warmers!).  Sorry for my blinding whiteness - darn Scottish/European skin!

Less than a week 'til race day!!!  Crazy forecast - yesterday things looked good.  Today, less so with a 40% chance of rain, but still better than last year.  Let's hope it changes for the better.  At the very least it will be warmer than last year!

I have been wanting to either have some of my own or at least work with them for a long time--it just so happens that there were some available (and CHEAP!) at the reptile show today! Smile

So these cute little guys live at your house, not the zoo?  I love them!

What did you eat since then?

WELCOME TO MONDAY **grumblegrumble**

Last day of the month too!

First HM on Saturday - I survived which was my primary goal - and under 2:30 which was my secondary goal so YAY me.

It's 10:30 and the server is down at work. Not a good sign for getting lots done. At least I made it to the gym today.

Hope your day is going better than mine! Gotta go check out the race reports..............

MBC OUT for now

btw, LOVE the froggies what are their names?

Oh my goodness, you are gorgeous!!! Love the skin. I predict high lickability. The kit is fantastic, too, even without a thong on the outside :P

Go Melbo Go!

So proud of my little athlete - he came third in his tri yesterday.  Beaten by the great Joey Lampe.  Kieran was second out of the water, second on the bike but 11th on the run.  He said he still felt cooked from his HIM two weeks ago.  But i think he gets like $200 or something for third so that's good.

That's awesome Jo!

Very cool, Jo    Little by little, right?

Lovin' the froggies, Kate. My boy got the giggles when I told him what they're called, "Waxy Monkey??? But they're frogs, not monkeys!"  Good point. So why is monkey in their name? These are things a 6yo needs to know Laughing

Aw! Same as your sweet little girl or was hers not a cold? Warm healing {MELON PRESS}

Go by feel. A light walk or easy yoga/stretching/whatever session may help to clear your head. My opinion though is that if you're feeling poorly enough to take the big Q for it, seriously ... just rest. As much as possible with two tots.

Thanks, peeps. Laughing

Yeah, whole family has had it now...mine just waited for J to get home to blossom.

The morning is gorgeous! Was 59* at 7am. Wheeeee!  And I'm sitting on my butt... inside. Frown

I think a walk is in order. Afraid running will cause an expulsion of a lung. Worst part about this is that I was all excited about upping my running a bit last week. One step forward, two steps back. Blech.
