tony - great story.

They expected you to freak out, and you didn't.

An early "HTFU" moment for the young padawan.

Nice half mary time, BTW.

Thanks homeskillet. I think if I were the 18-year-old wet-behind-the-ears punk they thought I was, I probably would've freaked out. But I'd been through a little by that time and didn't really care what people thought. And I figured, `hey, maybe I'll get a date if I advertise the goods in advance.'

Go with the 675, as much as I like the 955i's they're getting tough to find (around here anyway) in good shape. <----Sprint ST1050

Very true.  Plus the 675 is plenty of bike for me.

LCT!!!!!  DOOD!  Glad to see you!  We've missed you around here.  How are things?

So the day I decide to hang out in TAN... my internet is down for most of the day.  go figure!

And speaking of drywall... if you all read my blog yesterday the comment about drywall not holding 160 pounds would be me falling through the ceiling last week.  spent part of my day mudding.  fun stuff!

Creepin' and peepin' again? This time in ceiling???

*snerk*

I was being the good husband that I am and putting away some thing in the attic.  Missed a step and went through the ceiling in my son's room.  Fortunately one of the beams broke my fall as my hip caught it.  Not a pretty sight.  Had one of the moments out of the Money Pit where I wasn't quite sure what to do to get my self out and no one was home.

Lesson learned:  Don't be a good husband

I believe it sends an entirely different message if you HTFU while you're walking naked down the hallway.

Mine happened last Thursday.  Along with a bruised hip I knocked my back out of whack so getting up on a ladder was out of the question until today.  All that is left is to sand and paint.

I almost got run over by a UPS truck a little while ago. I was sitting at the light and he was coming up to it. Luckily I am aware of my surroundings and moved over and up next to the rear of the car in front of me... as he stopped quickly when he finally saw me. I had my turn signal on and was flashing my brake light to get his attention. He was looking over at something else.

I flipped him off, and he waved and yelled sorry out the door. Yeah..... he woulda been more sorry if I became his hood ornament.

That would have been a nice way to end you day
