I've been able to check in with most of my old friends/coworkers. Hoping it's all over soon.

I was on TV yesterday. I was a course marshal on the bike for the Philly half marathon and wound up guiding the winner right up to the tape. My new PR is 59:36

How the heck can someone run that fast? It was amazing to watch.

I don't do the drinky, but I did braise it in a red wine sauce.   Any recipe that starts with "pour two bottles of wine into a large saucepan" HAS to be good, right??

It was super good. Served with just mashed potatoes, using the red wine sauce as a gravy.   Thank Jeebus I made a ton, because I have leftovers for tonight


Slow day at work, and still feeling under-the-weather, but *almost* back to healthy.  I'm hoping to feel well enough tomorrow night to do a run. 

latest reports show as many as 12 dead.  just...wow.

Reddit closed a discussion looking for the other shooter. I guess they don't want a repeat of Boston.

I'm SO tired of this.

I really think people think this is the thing to do.  It's "popular".  Probably see all the media coverage and know they are going to be infamous.

It looks like y'all are going to give my Browns a tough fight for worst in the division.

Boring game last night.  I have a Steeler fan here in the office.  He's dejected.

I'm sure no one on TAN can watch, but the wife is on Good Morning America today.  She did a "thing" with Britney Spears Last night and it's going to be shown on GMA this morning.  They all dressed like school girls from her first video.

Haha!  I thought I would be able to see her.  Nope.  That's a let down.  Oh well.  That was filmed at 3 am here.  What people do/pay for publicity.

I looked through the photo album.  I think she is in one of the pictures (3 of 6).  I called to see if she was close to BS (hehe, BS) in some photos. 

I know this is a couple posts in a row from me, but the last one was almost 2 hours ago.

I saw them setting up some kind of event in the park next door to my office and found out it's a HUGE cycle cross event!  Cool.  They start at 4:30 tomorrow and it goes into the night.  May take off early and walk across the street and check it out...

She mentioned a super sprint (triathlon) on Thursday.  I'm talking about a Cyclecross event tomorrow.  Sheesh.
