Extreme Veteran 462 Brisbane QLD | Subject: RE: LEMmings- the reRUN. Once again over the cliff. Jeremy... There's no such thing as weak when you're running in the snow! hell I'm not particularly agile myself and most days that I run I struggle to complete the 4km (which isn't even 2 miles I think)
So yeah. Well done mate! |

Extreme Veteran 470 Horsham, PA | Subject: RE: LEMmings- the reRUN. Once again over the cliff. Hello Team LEMmings - the rerun....once again over the cliff! I am so happy to be on a team with such a motivated group of people. I am also motivated to complete my goal of 100 miles this month. I have alot of things going on this month, so the challenge will be just what I need to keep me on track. |

Daremo - 2008-02-05 9:24 AM Or have to pay $7,000 a year in home owner's insurance and property taxes like where I live for a 2,700 s.f. house on an acre. Oh, meanwhile got in another 6 this morning with 4 on the schedule when I get home tonight. 37.7 miles down not including tonight .......
Unfortunately where I live we pay close to that. Not California prices but we are the highest taxed in our county. On to other matters p we have a blizzard today - does snowblowing count? I will be putting on some miles doing that on my driveway and sidewalk today.

Cycling Guru 15134 Fulton, MD | Subject: RE: LEMmings- the reRUN. Once again over the cliff. 9.6 this morning including 4 x 1,000 intervals on the track. Brings my total to 51.3 - 25.6% complete! Didn't feel up to doing the other two 1,000's that were scheduled. It was too damn windy and every time I came around from the backstretch where I had an angled wind and got hit full force with the headwind on the 3rd 100 of each lap I could feel the pace just get sapped out of me. Not a lot of fun (as if track work is to begin with). On the good side, it WAS 55 degrees out when I started running at 5:30 am ...... |

Master 1989 New Jersey | Subject: RE: LEMmings- the reRUN. Once again over the cliff. 8.25 hilly miles last night. 22% of the way to my goal. Mostly everyone has posted their results so far and it's looking good. A few haven't. Let's make sure by Saturday night everyone has it updated. Btw, the month is 5/29th or 17.2% done. That should give you an idea of where your mileage should be. |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: LEMmings- the reRUN. Once again over the cliff. Midweek Challenge Update!Greetings February Challenge Participants!Have you been wondering what's happening on all the teams? Here's a quick update! Team Swimming Rocks - Co-Captains: kns57, Milaminute and Devouahy The three team captains are currently fighting over possession of their beloved Little Pink Whip. The winner might end up being Devouahy, as he can hold his breath for 6 min 18 seconds – without turning blue! Unfortunately, Captain Kendra has bronchitis and needs to withdraw from the challenge – however she is now the Official Team Cheerleader! (Can you hear her in the background? She’s yelling, “Go team! Swim like rocks!” – Er, or something like that.) Team We  T.I.T.S. - Co-Captains: tnickerson and Tupuppy Well, I’ll give you one guess as to what this team is discussing. Yep, it’s "All T.I.T.S. – All the time." We’ve got T.I.T.S. that are pink and red, and even some with GLITTER. And some people, well, they have more T.I.T.S. than others. And… well, enough of that. I’m sure you get the idea. Pitter Patter of Fast Feet... aka PFFT - Captain: 1for1 Naked runs! Yep, that’s the topic on this team. After Waterdog66 told the team about his naked run, the team was quick to contemplate how they could do this too! Stop by to find out which members of this team do naked runs, which members live near nudist colonies, and which members really want to do naked runs but feel it’s just a tad too cold outside. LEMmings- the reRUN. Once again over the cliff. - Captain: RunnerX Next stop - Team LEMons. Er, I meant "Lemmings." (I don’t think they appreciate my loving nickname for them.) Many members of this team seem to be plagued by the plague. Others are dealing with “the drippy sinus thing.” Despite this, they’re still racking up some impressive mileage. And they finally chose their team name - if only to avoid having me select it for them! Gingerbread Joggers - Captain: Enders_Shadow Puberty, temper tantrums and the “teenage years.” This group is discussing the hormonal swings that make for parents’ nightmares. Team Captain Kristen said “Groovy.” (When was the last time you heard that word?) Pam (crea0029) will be doing an indoor tri this weekend – Good luck, Pam! Running With Scissors - Captain: Artemis With over 400 posts already, this team looks to be a clear winner in this month’s Post Count Challenge. (What? You didn’t know there’s a Posting Challenge? Well, now you do. Get posting! LOL) Julie (Girl Passing On Left) has been displaying her creativity with some great pictures! She’s also been named the team’s Official Highlights Poster! Steve (reno8) has learned how to put a GLITTERY team table on his training log. And Lynne’s (Scotinseattle) snake ate a mouse, while her bird bit her – um, please refer to the Team T.I.T.S. discussion! Hope you enjoyed this midweek challenge update! If you weren’t mentioned in the update – well, you must not have been posting enough! Try harder for next week! And in the meantime: SWIM! BIKE! RUN! Dee |

Extreme Veteran 466 | Subject: RE: LEMmings- the reRUN. Once again over the cliff. Note to self- don't eat garlic pasta with veggies, italian sausage and ice cream with peanut butter before the evening run. Something didn't agree and my HR was a little higher than typical. Still 'ran' a little faster but... About the slow running- I'm trying a base building strategy of keeping all my runs for a period of time(at least a month) below my AeT. BryanCD posted about his success with a similar plan on the Triathlon Talk forum but I was already planning on this/doing it before I saw his post. I'm still slow but my average speed for the runs have increased about 0.5 mph keeping the HR below AeT so I'm a believer so far. |

Puts me at 66.3 miles for the month already ..... ugh!! But this is my last "hard" week before starting my gradual taper, so the month is front heavy with mileage. Think I'm finally getting over my cold. We'll see. |

Extreme Veteran 303 Champaign, Illinois | Subject: RE: LEMmings- the reRUN. Once again over the cliff. Okay.. I'm having a rough first week of February... Things are just very busy and all over the place. Despite that, I've gotten in 14.61 miles so far. 18% of my goal already. I'm nowhere near the level some of you are, but I'm plugging away at it. You guys all keep up the great work!
