Expert 1007 Missouri | Subject: RE: Team 4 Halloween Run Challenge Hey team! I'm a little behind but I just saw this thread. I don't get much computer time at home on the weekends - my 15yo is usually on it either doing homework or talking to her friends (when we're not spending the day at one of her XC meets). Anyways, I'm Janet - not what you would call really chatty but I promise to check in as often as I can. I'm looking forward to this challenge. I just started doing tri's this year (did 2 sprints) although I've been a runner for almost 3 years - if you can call what I do running. My focus for the next couple of months is running since I'm contemplating a half marathon in either early March or April - haven't decided which one I'm going to sign up for. It will be my third one and my training always starts off well but then fades so I'll probably need some tasering, prodding, motivating from you guys to keep me on track. I've also got some shorter running races scheduled for the next couple months so that should help too. |

Master 1989 New Jersey | Subject: RE: Team 4 Halloween Run Challenge Figured out my goal. 130 miles. My goal is still to run NYC, so if I want to do that then I'm going to have to do this. And I expect to run each of those miles so I'm going with miles instead of minutes like i said previously. Them legs better cooperate or else I'm returning them for a new pair. |

Elite 3595 Quebec, Canada | Subject: RE: Team 4 Halloween Run Challenge My plan calls for 215km for next month, but my doc asked me to go easy a little bit since I had some overuse pain in the legs, so I decided to put 200km as my running goal. If I ever go for more than that I will adjust it |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Team 4 Halloween Run Challenge Geez, you guys are planning on running a lot! I shall shoot for a measly 55-60 miles. In fact, let's say....57.5 miles. Right in the middle. |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Team 4 Halloween Run Challenge I popped into team 3's thread to say hi and saw mention of food. I'm hungry but don't feel like cooking dinner anytime soon. What is everyone eating tonight? We will end up having grilled pork chops and whatever else I whip up. |

Veteran 170 Plano, TX | Subject: RE: Team 4 Halloween Run Challenge Hey team! I'm Wes, I've been on BT for almost a year and completed my first 2 sprint races and a century ride so far. Next first will be a Half-Marathon in either Dec or Jan, I haven't committed to which race I want to spend my money on - probably the Dallas White Rock Half in Dec. --- Wes |

Riding on the track is as close as perfection for a bike as you can get. The pavement is sooo smooth it's really cool and fast. I will do it again next year for sure, maybe the HIM |

Then I shall have a little peace and quiet. But I can't enjoy it. I need to clean my house. Such fun, no? You cleaned it when you moved in!! That is enough for this month!!Oh wow. I *really* like the way you think! |

Wait... You think you'll only get tasered if you don't meet your goal???? That's not exactly what the usual plan is. Generally, I follow the motto "Taser Teamates Early And Often." Guess that comes out to TTEAO. |

We went to a Cuban restaurant for dinner and I got it as dessert. We also got a piece of Tres Leche cake, but apparently I have to share that with my husband, so I have to wait for a little while. |
