I'm in Ohio but I can tell you that if you look for a studio, ask questions about safety, certifications of instructors, etc. I wouldn't recommend going to a studio that has you in 6-inch platform heels from your very first day, and instructor training isn't standardized by any means. I am CPR trained, plus our studio went through a course on sports physiology as it relates to exotic and pole dance.
