Master 2231 Des Moines, Iowa | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... Alllriightyyyy Thennnnn!! Results through Sat, Sep 16. The Fighting Pickles are in the lead. Trash talking may continue.... ps...actual mileage cannot exceed the goal (for obvious purposes). So if you're milage is less than reported, it's probably because you met your goal for the month.

Master 2231 Des Moines, Iowa | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... (Drumroll......) TaDa!! Wombats have taken the lead! One more week to go for bragging rights in this challenge. I'm sure there will be many wolves, griffins, wombats, weevils, pickles, and slugs pounding the pavement and rolling down the streets to get miles. And yes, if you're wondering, I have done nothing for 12 stinking days...(head hung low...I can't believe it). Slugs...I won't let you down. Even if it means many trips to the Chiropractor and even possibly the ER. I've never not finished a challenge and this won't be the first (crud...why do I say those things...)

Cycling Guru 15134 Fulton, MD | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... Not to be a stickler or anything ....... but I was amazed to see LeCrac had already done 150 miles running and was being bumbled for my measley 172 ......... so I checked his logs: Bike: 8h 16m 03s - 230.1 KM Run: 17h 51s - 164.1 KM Seems some team leader forgot to convert km's to miles ...... so that will change the results a bit ....... especially since he's a wombat ........ ;-P |

Expert 707 Kansas | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... Hey Daremo.....I've noticed that you have a keen eye for cheaters an spotting the metric system misuse..... With that being said.... Speedball (team captain for the Nanner Slugs) has just purchased a Segway (I saw the empty box in his trash) and now his run mileage & pace has suspiciously increased..... I asked myself 'What Would Daremo Do'???? (WWDD.... put that one on a bracelet) So just before dark last night I hid in the bushes right across the street from Speedball's home..... I got this picture Eric Edited by ott13979 2006-09-27 8:21 AM (Speedball on Segway.jpg) Attachments ---------------- Speedball on Segway.jpg (24KB - 28 downloads) |
