I have posted this weeks totals.  The spreadsheet is attached.  PLEASE check me out and make sure I have things correct.  I'm sorry I haven't posted more or sent my encouragement along the way.  I have been swamped at work.  A personal observation - it seems like every time I shower or start to sweat I smell cholrine - what's up with that!  Keep swimming those laps!

I'm a little short on the Spreadsheet, I wasn't able to update my log until this morning. My weekly sum total column was messing as well, could you paste it in the master sheet?

Thanks for the keeping track of this..btw.

Most of us are doing great!!!

Sorry team, I didn't fit the 3rd swim in last week.  I will do it this week and by the end of the challenge should meet my goal.

I have fixed up a couple of little snags on the spreadsheet for this week.  I didn't change any numbers for the week though.  If you didn't have your logs up to date on Sunday night when I put the spreadsheet together we'll get the yards next week.  What I do is take your total yds from your log, subtract last weeks totals giving me you new weekly total.  There won't be any missed yardage I promise!

Keep swimming hard you guys are all doing well!

Hikergerby! I finally got back in the water!

Swam 1800 meters/1969 yards today. That takes my total for December to: 3281 yards (I rounded up because I can use all the help I can get

I'm chuggin' along like the wee engine that could.

When I gave you my swims for the short week to start I included the Sunday swim and should not have.

So for week 1 I was just 600M.

Week 2 was 3500M putting me at a total through Week 2 of 4100M.

edited to add that the spreadsheet is right for me.

John,

Actually you were correct originally, the weeks end on Sunday and restart on Monday.

Ok.... you guys put me to shame! Wow! Some serious yardage piling up around here!

I did get in some measly yardage this A.M.....

550 yards...

But heck, in June I could barely swim 50 meters without nearly drowning! So maybe by this time next year I'll be up to doing 2-3000 yards with ease and within an hour vs. taking all morning to complete!

Well, I did manage to get in 1500 yesterday that brings my total up to 5,400yds so I'm getting closer to the goal of 12,000 yds. I'll just have to keep on keeping on. My shoulder is feeling Ok and not bothering me much at all. I'll swim again tomorrow. Have a great day all!

Question for the experts out there...

When you enter your swimming time in the logs do you enter the total time you spent in the pool, including rest between sets, or just the time spent swimming?

Thanks!

Well, I got my 2nd swim of the week in this morn. I did 1500 yd in 35:02. Not fast but I am hoping as my shoulder gets stronger it will increase my speed. But the good news is that it is not hurting. 4th day with out any pain meds. So my total is 6900/12,000
